Clash of Clans (Official thread) (7 Viewers)

Hopefully someone can post a replay of the 1st attack against me in the current war.  My CC was 2 Valks/2 Skulls/Wiz and it destroyed (completely) an L4 and L5 golem before the DPS troops got through the outer trash.

 
So are Valks good now? TH10 still. Been there for a long time now. I occasionally throw out a Loonion with hounds because I feel like if I come back to the game later I'll regret not passively upgrading the AQ and some towers in the interim. Mostly I collect when I wake up and before bed.

I'll be playing for 3.

TH9 is to the point where unless I screw up an attack, its 3* (yes, I do screw up fairly regularly). Even going through my raid log, there isn't a miss unless it is vs a TH10. No more challenge.

And with Jr slowly building at TH9 now, I get the best of both.

By the time I get valks maxed they'll be nerfed into irrelevance 

 
That Valk/Hog combo is lethal. Took down the opposing #1 for a 76% 2 star in about 1:30 and that was with completely messing up my CC hog deployment spot.

Big key to it's success IMO is to trigger the Warden ability early and make sure all the Valks are in the Warden's area - the 5 seconds of invincibility + 8 seconds of freeze + a rage . . . and it's more than enough time for the Valks to destroy the core.

1 Golem, 5 Fur, 7 Wiz, 16 Valks, 2 Minion, 4 Hogs + 7 CC Hogs

4 EQ, 2 Rage, 2 Freeze

Now just need to perfect it

Just jumped them in. Watched to see which way the valks went and hogged the other side. Two heals for he valks, and one for the hogs. 65k weight base gone in 103 seconds.

And a 69k weight base with 28/27 heroes and all max walls goes down in 2m 20s - and I was late on healing the hogs.

Fbgs closing in on some big milestones at the end of this month.

War Win #200: as early as Apr 20th. Almost certain to fall between Apr 20 - 29th

Clan Level 10: the week of May 2 - 6th. If undefeated throughout April then Apr 29th.

Should setup a scrim vs Honda for it. We'd have to send over a few 10s and 11s and maybe bring back a couple 8s.

We're about 2 weeks behind you -- have L10 falling somewhere between like May 15th-20th.

 
So I realize that I'm pretty terrible at barching.

Been raiding with 4 healers, 4 furs, rest barch and gobs. Stores filling up insanely quickly. If the base has full collectors, hammer away with the cheap troops. If its a monster with full stores and collectors, AQ and hammer it. 

 
I've got a nearly maxed TH9; can I get a spot?

Primary war attacks right now are either GoHoWi or GoVaWi depending how many DGB spots there are and where they have their queen.  I've been using Valks a ton since they got buffed.

Search for fbgs or Fbg3. Put "ffa" in your request so we know it is a legit request. Might need to lower trophies, and if so post here for how low to set them.

Both clans war 3x a week. Fbgs has more 11s and 10s with nothing below 8. Fbg3 is mostly 9s and below.

10 gigob a day for 2500 each should do it. Barely get raided in Crystal so loss/war troops are covered by drills.

I've been triple capped all weekend and have been attacked twice. I should be the dream target as a fresh TH10.

talked about this last week in FBGS chat, would be fun to get 50 man war for that 200th win. Honda can send in reinforcements once FBGS is at 199. Maybe some of the old school guys from the Bus can come over too for this one.

edit: i mean "with", not "against" each other.

50 person wars are in the territory of the china farmers.  That should be avoided.

Just do an arranged war.  What's the worst thing that can happen, someone loses? BFD.  

Tam has the copy of the sheet to make it work.  Obviously you'd have to move a lot of weight to Honda but the sheet has a script to run to auto balance the teams out.

I can pull from a gigantic pool to balance out any adjustments that have to happen.

Oh no, I want against!

We've never had any luck going 40+. We would have to shuffle a few people around to even it out but it would be pretty simple IMO.

Still don't know if this is a good idea. We'd have to send a bunch of our TH10's and TH11's over. Long time players who I'm guessing would want to be a part of the 200th win rather than battle to prevent it. 

I'd like to see 30 folks (no 2nd accounts) go for #200. I'm guessing a bunch of our current opt outs would come back in for #200. If we can't get 30 primary accounts then ask if any from Honda, Serious Bus, etc. want in. If we still can't get 30 then use alts.

Agreed on no 40 or 50 man wars...it's asking for farmers.

 
Alright boys we have a decent war here, need all hands on deck.

To the TH9s: They have some pretty good bases, so lets work from the bottom up.  For now leave 14-18 for the bully's.  If you call a base from 19 down, get your attack in early.   We need to get 19 down cleared ASAP.
