Cleo Lemon (1 Viewer)

Looked decent last week in less than a full game, and gets a week of practice with the first team. Now he goes up against the 31st ranked defense of the Browns. Can he be at least usuable this week?

Miami will run the ball alot thats for sure. But I believe Lemon will throw 2 TD's not alot of yards tho.

Booker and Gin.... Chambers is nothing but a decoy this year so far. Gin been coming in the games slowly but getting the deep passes.

Usable maybe, but only if you are waaaaaaaay thin with byes and injuries. He's barely a #3 QB overall on most rosters, but serviceable if necessary. I considered picking him up as my #3 (12 team - td + bonus yds) with Manning (my #1) off and Grossman (my original #2) benched. I fortunately have Campbell to fill in this week, but if I didn't, I would give Lemon a shot, but only if a few others were not available on FA market first. I see him below Warner, Frerotte and even Griese and Harrington this week, but above Croyle/Huard, McNair/Boller, Jackson/Holcolm, Carr/Testaverde.I would expect 120-160 yards, possibly 1 passing TD against CLE this week. Miami is going to run, run, run so I don't see alot of downfield plays, mostly short routes and screens, keeping the game plan simple.

Well I am one of those that is way thin with byes and a picked clean waiver wire.

I've got Roethlisberger on bye and picked up Harrington last week with a decent matchup this week against the Giants. However, last weeks benching didn't give me much confidence in him, so I dropped him in favor of some scraps on the wire. I picked up Frerotte and Lemon and with Bruce out, I'm leaning towards giving Cleo a shot with the favorable matchup.

I have no other option. My QBs were Bulger, Green and Grossman.

edit: I forgot about T Jackson. I have never been so desperate that I had to even consider him.

Same situation here. I have Ben on bye and I picked up Harrington last week. After his poor performance and benching, I dropped him for Huard. I'm hoping Huard has a great game against the Bengals. Lemon was my next choice though.

With Manning and Big Ben on a bye he was all that I could get on the WW to start. 22 man roster in a dynasty.

If there was a week to start him this would be it against that ghastly Browns defense.

Fingers crossed.

I have went the entire season without a backup to Peyton Manning in my dynasty league declining a million offers for a backup RB just for Lemon to be there this week. I'm starting him.

im starting everyone i own in this game,,,i think it will be high scoring,.....

lemon

r brown

braylon

wright(may start s morris if maroney is out)

Payton Manning owner checking in... I just plucked Lemon off the waiver wire, over:

Chad Pennington

Joey Harrington

Gus Frerotte

Vikings QB du jour

C'mon Cleveland, don't fail me now!

:goodposting:

I'm debating Lemon or D. Anderson for my #2 in a start 2 league. Anderson has the numbers so far but a tough match up it seems. Lemon is unproven as a starter but has a favorable match up.

Probably sticking with Anderson.

I picked him up to cover Romo's bye week. I am playing Frerotte over Lemon today to cover Kitna's bye week.

Obviously we start 2 QB's in our league.

Man, I suck. I'm starting both Lemon and Anderson in a start 2 QB league. Leinart out for year and Pennington with the suck.I also have Lemon in another league. Briefly considered starting him over VY, but I know as soon as I bench VY, he'll finally have a good week. I think Lemon will have a good week this week, but it's just too risky.

Lemon was the only starter on waivers besides Tarvaris, figured he had more upside but didn't expect that good of game from him.
