Cleveland at Baltimore (1 Viewer)

I'm usually in favor of going for it on short yardage, but as bad as 1st, 2nd and 3rd downs went for Baltimore I'm surprised they tried that.

This game is the stinkiest turd ever laid on an NFL field and this thread reflects it. Never thought I would want the Ravens to miss the playoffs but I can't imagine wanting to watch this team play another game

Seems like they went with the right back today.

I don't think Pettine even knows what he's trying to accomplish, lol. West is a decent RB, pretty much just a guy, but Crowell has stud ability & he'll surely be their feature back next season. Now is then time to act if you want the Crow.

Crowell rushing average last 4 games: 1.7, 3.9, 2.4, 3.4

Failing to see how it's obvious that he's the man.
Not getting into another Crowell/West debate, lol, but this war is over, IMO. Crowell has shown ability West simply doesn't have. He's more dynamic & he's more powerful. In fact, I think Cleveland believes Crow is their guy. Their actions toward the end of the season show that. Pettine doesn't believe Crow is healthy (hip) or I believe you would've seen the Crow start this week.

In fact, I think they would trade West if they could get enough. They like Winston a lot & West could bring help elsewhere. The competition will be open, but unless Crowell falls back on past behavior, & there's no indication he'll do that, I see no way West can overtake him.

Didn't West overtake him today?

6 playoff appearances in 7 years in the Harbaugh and Flacco era has been nice. Still a very flawed team

15 comments for the entire game? Please no Ravens band wagoners for the playoff game thread. Pathetic...

Today? I think it's pretty obvious Crow is their future. FF is about differing opinions, but in this case, I can't see how anyone could view West as their feature back going into 2015. I own West in a dynasty league, but he just hasn't shown near the ability Crow has. West got the start because they're out of playoff contention & Pettine doesn't believe Crow is fully healthy. It's also a last chance to get a look at West. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they tried to move him since they're high on Winston.

One good thing about Pettine is despite all the games, it seems like he prefers having a true feature back instead of a RBBC. That's one of the reasons I'm so high on Crow.

This. Wanted to win and get in but not looking forward to a playoff game with a bunch of street free agent and practice squad CB's.
agreed. 2012 regular season ended poorly, so SB run was unexpected. This year is similar, except for the CB issue and fewer steady receiving targets (ala Boldin and Pita) which will be problematic.

Ravens fans on this board are a small, tightknit bunch that are chill anti-homers. Pretty sure we don't need you to tell us how to follow the team
