Still better than a bull#### loss.What a bull#### win
Yep. Although they've had two questionable calls against them at the end of games this year too. Just garbage officiating all season. What a bull#### win
:-( Browns were robbed
You're probably thinking of Aaron Hernandez, but I don't think he'll get away with it. Wonder if he watched the game.Unbelievable. The Browns deserved that game. NE got away with murder.
more than that...it LANDED 2 or 3 yards short of the end line, so 8 or 9 yards is more like it2-3 yardshow short was the FG attempt?
Exactly. That's what they get for chasing the pts.And none of this would have been an issue if CLE would have kicked the PAT in the 3rd quarter.
goal post runs parallel to end linemore than that...it LANDED 2 or 3 yards short of the end line, so 8 or 9 yards is more like it2-3 yardshow short was the FG attempt?
Not really, the pats would have kicked the extra point instead of going for 2 at the end.Exactly. That's what they get for chasing the pts.And none of this would have been an issue if CLE would have kicked the PAT in the 3rd quarter.
CLE failing on the 2pt conversion early in the 3rd prompted NE to go for the 2pt at the end of the third (successfully). If CLE had taken the PAT instead they would have been up 20-3 prior to that NE touchdown, and there wouldn't have been any advantage for NE to go for 2 in that situation.Exactly. That's what they get for chasing the pts.And none of this would have been an issue if CLE would have kicked the PAT in the 3rd quarter.![]()
Pats would have gone for 1, and still been up 1.
The game meant a lot to the Patriots, Bengals, and Broncos. The guys who fix games are gonna start to get hurt if this keeps up.
Better hire more security if you dare to do this in a game that means something.
Pretty sure the goalpost isnt sitting on the groundgoal post runs parallel to end linemore than that...it LANDED 2 or 3 yards short of the end line, so 8 or 9 yards is more like it2-3 yardshow short was the FG attempt?
but a ball that CLEARS the crossbar lands at least 3 yards PAST the end line.......so the kick was at LEAST 6 yards short of the distance necessary to clear the crossbar.goal post runs parallel to end linemore than that...it LANDED 2 or 3 yards short of the end line, so 8 or 9 yards is more like it2-3 yardshow short was the FG attempt?
FG's don't come in a straight linegoal post runs parallel to end linemore than that...it LANDED 2 or 3 yards short of the end line, so 8 or 9 yards is more like it2-3 yardshow short was the FG attempt?
Are you serious?Great win by the Patriots, showed a lot of heart, that's the stuff champions are made of.
So what, the mobsters played the Patriots ML? What did that pay, like -500?Are you serious?Great win by the Patriots, showed a lot of heart, that's the stuff champions are made of.
The NFL is run by mobsters.
This game is definitive proof.
Patriots showed a lot of heart?
How?
By paying off officials?
Don't you dare come in with the weak-sauce platitudes to try and smooth over what was obviously a fixed NFL game.
Doesn't matter, your season is over anyways. Gronk out and you need an onside kick to beat the Browns???Great win by the Patriots, showed a lot of heart, that's the stuff champions are made of.
I don't totally disagree.Doesn't matter, your season is over anyways. Gronk out and you need an onside kick to beat the Browns???Great win by the Patriots, showed a lot of heart, that's the stuff champions are made of.

Where were you when the Pats were robbed in the first quarter by a quick whistle that gave Cleveland their first points? That fumble could have been run back for a TD. I didn't see you claiming the Browns are paying off the refs.
The funny thging is, NE could have lost this game and still have a 99% chance of making the playoffs.
The mob is running a 9 billion dollar industry? What benefit does this win have to do for the mob? The Pats wouldn't have covered the line weather they won or lost.
Some people are just plain nuts.
Go make a sandwich with your weak sauce.

Do you have some inside information? Did the don of the New Jersey mob have the Patriots in a 10 point teaser or something?

... a pass interference call in the end zone with less than a minute to play. Browns defensive back Leon McFadden was flagged for interfering with Patriots wide receiver Josh Boyce, a call that didnt have a lot of evidence to support it when watching on several replays after the fact.
Make sure you add a * next to the Panthers win over the Pats too* next to that win for the Pats.
Top 5 defense I believe and the 2nd best WR in the league.Everyone is making the PI call out to sound like a make or break call for the pats. Sure this is all hypothetical, but with the field position, time left, and momentum, I'm pretty sure they were going to score either way. Like I said earlier in this topic, this doesn't justify the call, I just think the call expedited the inevitable.
On another note, I didn't expect the patriots to be able to blow out the browns like most did. Throughout the whole season I've thought the entire AFC north is extremely underrated, even the Browns.
