Cleveland at New England (1 Viewer)

I don't get that one. Way too long a kick in cold weather, better off trying the hail mary

Campbell did what he could - pretty impressive. Should have gone long on one and put it on to the refs. Seems like the easiest way to get a win.

The guys who fix games are gonna start to get hurt if this keeps up.

Better hire more security if you dare to do this in a game that means something.

And none of this would have been an issue if CLE would have kicked the PAT in the 3rd quarter.
Exactly. That's what they get for chasing the pts.
Not really, the pats would have kicked the extra point instead of going for 2 at the end.

Yeah it was a bad call, but in my opinion, it just gave cleveland 30 seconds to try for a field goal. Doesn't justify the call but heyy

That's a terrible PI call sure but the Pats still had lots of time there to go 30 yards for the score. The quick whistle in the first quarter was a 10 point swing so they were owed one.

It's hard to overcome so many consecutively bad calls. I feel bad for the Browns. They got completely hosed.

Pats would have gone for 1, and still been up 1.
CLE failing on the 2pt conversion early in the 3rd prompted NE to go for the 2pt at the end of the third (successfully). If CLE had taken the PAT instead they would have been up 20-3 prior to that NE touchdown, and there wouldn't have been any advantage for NE to go for 2 in that situation.

Great win by the Patriots, showed a lot of heart, that's the stuff champions are made of.
Are you serious?

The NFL is run by mobsters.

This game is definitive proof.

Patriots showed a lot of heart?

How?

By paying off officials?

Don't you dare come in with the weak-sauce platitudes to try and smooth over what was obviously a fixed NFL game.

So what, the mobsters played the Patriots ML? What did that pay, like -500?

And did the mobsters call up the refs at half-time and to get their bank details? Please break this down for me.

Lol, classic haterade right there.

Where were you when the Pats were robbed in the first quarter by a quick whistle that gave Cleveland their first points? That fumble could have been run back for a TD. I didn't see you claiming the Browns are paying off the refs.

The funny thging is, NE could have lost this game and still have a 99% chance of making the playoffs.

The mob is running a 9 billion dollar industry? What benefit does this win have to do for the mob? The Pats wouldn't have covered the line weather they won or lost.

Some people are just plain nuts.

Go make a sandwich with your weak sauce.

They never do.

Just got back from the game. Incredible comeback. Don't know about the pass interference call, but I would rather have won without it. Brady leading two TD drives in the final 2:30 of the game has to be one of the greatest comebacks of the year - almost on par with his comeback wins against the Broncos and Saints. Another great effort on his MVP resume.

watched that play several times...not a thing wrong with that call at all...the PI on the other hand... :lmao:

can't believe you Pats fans are trying to justify this...you barely beat a horrible Browns team....just take your ####ty lucky win and move on

Your first NFL game, huh? Have you picked a home team yet, or do you need to see all the uniforms first?

The game was fixed.
Last I knew the Pats still didn't cover.
The mafia was in deep on the -550 Patrtios ML. :lmao:
The fix was in. Anyone who isn't a :homer: and saw the game knows it.
Right. Except nobody...at all...is saying this...other than you.

Do you have some inside information? Did the don of the New Jersey mob have the Patriots in a 10 point teaser or something?

Yeah, nobody. Everybody is putting on knee pads and blowing the Patriots for their HEART.

... a pass interference call in the end zone with less than a minute to play. Browns defensive back Leon McFadden was flagged for interfering with Patriots wide receiver Josh Boyce, a call that didn’t have a lot of evidence to support it when watching on several replays after the fact.

All these Pats haters seriously make me crack up. Get over it already. Will a hug make you feel better?? Pats got robbed in the Panthers game, and this certainly made up for it. Excuses are all you've got. A win is a win and this team certainly has the chance to win a Superbowl with or without Gronk.

Stop whining. You're only making yourself look like even more of an idiot.

Everyone is making the PI call out to sound like a make or break call for the pats. Sure this is all hypothetical, but with the field position, time left, and momentum, I'm pretty sure they were going to score either way. Like I said earlier in this topic, this doesn't justify the call, I just think the call expedited the inevitable.

On another note, I didn't expect the patriots to be able to blow out the browns like most did. Throughout the whole season I've thought the entire AFC north is extremely underrated, even the Browns.

Top 5 defense I believe and the 2nd best WR in the league.
