Some people are convinced that the Clinton Global Initiative was a sham charity that was created so that Hillary could use her power as President to funnel public money into her own pockets. They believe that the recent announcement proves their suspicions. ("It must be a sham, otherwise it wouldn't have closed after Hillary lost the election!!")

Nothing you say will change their minds.

(These same people are not interested in acknowledging the fact that the CGI was created in 2005, nor are they interested in acknowledging the fact that the closing process actually started in September, nor are they interested in acknowledging the fact that the CGI's parent organization -- the Clinton Foundation -- has not been disbanded, and won't be.)

Hey...if the shoe fits. :shrug:   Some people will believe whatever the Clinton Machine tells them.

And it's not just the CGI, it's the entire Clinton Foundation.  They've been using at their own personal piggy bank since it's inception - Bill, Hillary and Chelsea.  The FBI investigation into the CF is going to blow the lid off the whole thing - then you'll really know what corruption means.

The Clintons won't be able to sell influence anymore, so I'm sure the CF will be going under at some point.

The FBI may not be around long enough to file a report on the Clinton Foundation if President Trump has his way. All those guys are going to be run out of town for being incompetent and/or disloyal.

The FBI may exist in name only but anyone who does not swear loyalty to Trump will be ousted. The organization will be such a shell that there won't be enough people left to properly finish the Clinton Foundation investigation.
