COD: Black Ops 3 (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure where to put this, but seeing how something came up playing Black Ops 2 rather than Ghosts:

I'm trying to get Diamond Camo on all the LMGs (I know, stupid, but having a goal in mind makes the game more fun for me). I've already done it for SMGs and Shotguns (I freaking love running around like a maniac with an S-12). So anyway, my son got on my case for playing with an LMG. Said I need to stop using it because people make fun of us (we share my account) for being a Nube. (Yes, I use an LMG with a silencer and a target-finder). Said that people think it is cheating.

I was incredulous. I have to put up with idiot quick-scoping, and not even aiming, and killing me before I even move. (Tip: Playing "kill-confirmed" cuts down on the quickscopers). I told him that quickscopers are the real suck in black ops. He tells me that quickscoping takes skill, and LMG just makes me a nube.

So who's right?

You are. Quickscoping is one of the worst things about this franchise.

Quickscopers suck. It's just taking advantage if a bad game mechanic (auto-aiming before even scoped in) and the sniper rifle's one shot kill power. Go into hardcore mode and see how many Quickscopers there are. They don't exist there because it's no longer worth it.

Plus, there are tons of modded controls that make quickscoping super easy.

Here's what I tell people that complain about my weapon perks:

Make a list of the perks you'd like me to use and then go shove it up your ###.

Seriously. If your team is going to camp, I'm going to use target finder. If you all want to run and gun, I'll strip off all my perks and we can do it with iron sights.

Beta was ok, but I am a huge fan of hardcore KC and Domination...hope the things I have heard about them not being in there aren't true.

i liked AW too....but just couldnt beat the folks who were good at the jumping aspect.....

This is dorky, but the gf and I buy the COD games mostly just because it's the best split-screen zombie killing experience out there. Which is sad. But we haven't even touched that mode (which looks awesome) yet, just familiarizing ourselves with the game through local multiplayer vs. bots and we're loving the specialist angle. Feels much smoother and better than AW did. Love that we're rid of the exo suits even though you can still run on walls and turbo jump kinda.

They make this claim for every new COD and it's always a lie. I played in a game last night where a guy was already a level 43 and he had absolutely no problems quickscoping at all.

Got into a lobby after hard resetting and try ten times. Got into a glitched lobby where the countdown would never start in the map selection.

Next lobby joins a game at the end again losing 28-75. Dropped my party and then the game crashed.

After about an hour of trying to play I have yet to spawn a single life.

Decided to download it yesterday to try it out. Much better than AW, imo. Still haven't fully fixed net coding issues tho.
