I've commished a fairly standard college fantasy league for 2 years now, and entering our 3rd year, we are looking for a couple replacement owners.
We start from scratch each year, just like any redraft league.
Usports.com is the league page. They charge a fee of around 14 dollars which will not go toward the payout. But we are expecting to get 10 teams, with 100% of the owner's $50.00 buy-ins going toward the pot. We will pay out 225 for 1st, 175 for 2nd, and 100 for 3rd.
The rules are pretty standard:
Player Pool:
- All players from ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Big East, SEC, and Pac 10 schools, along with those from Notre Dame will be eligible
Draft:
- Draft order will be randomized beforehand
- Teams will be filled out using a slow format draft (VIA email) will be up to 20 Rounds*
- Each owner will have 6 hours to make a pick, but the clock will be frozen from midnight to 6AM
- Picks can be made during the clock freeze
Managing roster:
- 20 Roster Spots
- Starting requirements: 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 2 flex spots (RB/WR/TE), 1 Kicker, 1 D/ST
League setup:
- Two divisions of 5 teams each (to be placed in divisions based on their draft positions)
How to win:
- Division Winners from Weeks 1-13 will make the LOCFF playoffs (determined by W/L% from randomized head to head matchups)
- #1 seed will face #4 seed and #2 will face #3 in Week 14
- Winners of the Week 14 games will meet in Week 15, with Week 14 scores carrying over and combining with Week 15 scores to determine 1st and 2nd place
- Losers of the Week 14 games will meet in Week 15, with Week 14 scores carrying over and combining with Week 15 scores to determine 3rd place
*Draft may have to be ended prematurely since Week 1 begins August 28th. If so, the remaining roster spots may be filled out by adding players on the u-sports website.
