College Player Challenge (1 Viewer)

If there was any question of Mike Hart's hands, they were answered today. His arms pale in comparison to Mendenahall's by a wide margin.

Don't know how serious these guys take these type of events but Stewart disappointed me. You could tell he was not giving 100% effort and not sure why. Maybe their agents discouraged them due to injury concerns? If that was the case why participate??

Jamaal Charles won an event as well.

Mendenhall did look very good.

I watched it and it was ok. I like Brennan as someone who could fall and hope the Vikings can get him in the 3rd - not a strong arm, but accurate for the west coast offense.

Also, be careful - I watched this a few years ago and it was my first exposure to Troy Williamson, when he won the hands competition!! ;)

Pretty sad that there was just 14 players there:

5 QBs - Flacco, Brennan, Henne, Ryan, and Booty

4 RBs - Mike Hunt, R. Mendenhall, J.White, and JStewart

5 Ks - and none were Jeremy "Judge" Ito. ;)

No TE, no WR. Is it THAT bad this year????

I hope you get your wish..............as does every other opponent of the Vikings. That would be a waste of a 3rd.

Yes, I thought the same thing. It was almost as though one of two things happened. Either he came up with an injury during the drills, which looks pretty bad if you can't perform in these "non-contact" drills without injuring yourself. Or the other, is that he has poor work ethic and just gave up as he was out matched. I really don't think he gave up, because he was leading the last drill in time, but he jogged the last route to catch the final ball toss. Not sure he would do that, unless he didn't tweak something. But yes, Mendenall is a work of art, but Stewart wasn't far behind him if you are just looking at their frame pound for pound. No doubt about it, if the draft came down to drafting players on their arm size, these guys would go 1 and 2.

Yes - Tarvaris Jackson's 6.5 YPA and 58% completion rate puts fear in opponent's hearts.Adding Colt Brennan would be a good move for the Vikes.ETA: Adding Daniels or Flacco might be a better move, but Brennan would work in that offense. Game manager, make smart throws = Colt Brennan as a pro.
