College QB Shedeur Sanders, Colorado (5 Viewers)

.snip
He added some bulk this year,I think that helps him.
Dad has said he doesn't want him to play in cold weather in The NFL.
Yet he's playing in Boulder Colorado.
I don't see a LaVar Ball situation with him,Coach Prime is too smart for that.
Maybe more of an Archie/Eli scenario?
I love the concept of Mike Tomlin getting him(but not the Steelers losing).
We'll find out real quick how Deion behaves. I waiver on if he'll shush or he won't stay out of it. Tomlin would be so perfect. He clearly loves his players and is that good sorta tough on them too.

I think the cold comment was just being a dad and we'll have to learn to let him be a dad too. We all want nice things for our kids. I don't think he truly meant he'd only go to select warm weather teams.

Tomlin's QBs have been so questionable since Big Ben he almost deserves a good one.

Sidenote- I find it fascinating that Tomlin has questionable QBs but Smith as OC doesn't. I can't wait to watch this oddity develop on social media this season

I could see Jerry Jone’s trading the farm to land this guy, have to believe it is Dak’s last year and Jerry would love the attention it would bring to Dallas.

HARD PASS on Shedeur!!!

Hunter otoh, I'd be great with...I think.
Prime Time said he didn't want him playing anywhere cold. Said he knew where he wants him to go.

Which teams will maybe draft a QB? PIT-NYJ-NYG-SEA

And DAL-LV-TB. I bet LV is on the short list.

TB is set unless Baker somehow completely bombs.
I'm just making a list, casting a wide net. Maybe SEA and TB are both happy next year with their QB.

To me, it is DAL and LV.

Hopefully he won't be there when the Raiders are in the clock with the 32nd pick next year.

The most entertaining outcome is Bryce Young has another middling year, and David Tepper demands the shiny new Shedeur.
Coach Prime climbs up on a pulpit, and declares in a fiery sermon that his son will NEVER play there, and David Tepper is all like, hey, slow down there Don King, you know how much money I have? I've spent more in spilled cocaine than your net worth. I'm gonna take your kid, and I'll draft him again next year if you think you slick. Them Prime starts a podcast with his sons, and Shedeur comes out with his own line of socks/energy drink, and becomes a billionaire in the two years while he is holding out. But then he loses it all in a crypto ponzi scheme. He uses his brother's bankruptcy lawyer, who gives him a family bankruptcy discount.

Damn, you've really thought this out.

LOL at Deion dictating anything. Scrub can't build a college program and his kid filed for bankruptcy as a sham. Loser family
From 2013-2019 Jackson State was 21-40.
Sanders record there was 27-6.
So he can/did build a winning program.

This kid is becoming one of the worst people I've seen in college football in a long time. I think his dad may have ruined him.

Two weeks ago, he gets benched and walked off the field before the game ended. Throws his team under the bus in the post game interviews.

This weekend, he's throwing bombs up by 20 with less than two minutes to play. following the game he refuses to shake hands with the opposing team's QB.

No team wants a "leader" like this.

Blame the NCAA for that.. The have put a big thing on style points.. Look at Tennesee and Kent State this past weekend.. Tennessee calling timeouts up by 50 to score before the half ends.

But,. you are right his attitude sucks.. Him telling the Colorado Sate QB to F off as he was trying to shake hands is all I needed to see.

Oddly specific, but I love it!

Yeah......not a guy I'd want as the face of my franchise. He's obviously talented, but is he SO talented that he can overcome those sorts of character issues and lead a locker room? I don't think so.

I know nobody is a finished product as a person at 22 years old, but he just seems too far gone. And you know his dad is just gonna encourage him to "keep doing you" once he gets to the league. Nobody to rein him in

Hard pass. Some team in the top 10 will go get him but from a talent perspective I don’t think his ceiling is that high and he looks like he comes with conditions.

following the game he refuses to shake hands with the opposing team's QB.
Opposing team's QB talked smack before the game, was on social media insulting Shedeur. Repeatedly.

Then he gets beat and wants to shake hands, suddenly wants to take the high road.

Sanders is a jagoff, but I had no problem with this particular story.
I haven't seen anything he posted. The articles just reference a quote of ... “Yeah, they came out with that attitude and thought it was going to be a cakewalk,” Fowler-Nicolosi said. “They saw the reports, 27.5 points, or whatever it was, and they got a rude awakening real quick. And I think it goes to show that the hype, the media train, all that, it only gets you so far. At the end of the day, you have to line up 11 guys against our 11 guys, and we’ll find out who wants it more, and we’ll see how far Instagram followers gets them.”

I didn't see any insults.

Uh, OK

Jordan Reid
Keeping plays alive outside of structure and using his legs to limit negative plays.

Some areas that Shedeur Sanders has shown growth in so far this year. Multiple examples vs. UCF last week.

I really hope he "steers" him away from the Giants. I don't want to have anything to do with them.

Dude took 6 sacks and threw a pick in a loss. QB1? Yikes.
Yikes? Didn’t he also go 34-40 while losing two (or three even?) of his wideouts, including Hunter?
Yes.
He's a really talented passer, and he can move around. He definitely gets in trouble when he drops too deep, but it looks like that is the offense as well. Remains to be seen if that is a fatal flaw or something.

But look, he doesn't seem like a very likable kid, and his dad gets more unlikable by the week.

I dunno how many people can separate the player evaluation from the person, but I know not many of them are posting online regularly--anywhere.

I guess it’s pretty common to make excuses for QB failures nowadays. Guys that take bad sacks and turn it over don’t make it in the NFL. Look at his two losses this year.

Sounds like another player fantasy owners are going to love and defend that NFL coaches can’t wait to get rid of.

Pick in the red zone. Had the ball with two minutes and a chance to win/tie. Moved it 5 yards?

I’m not saying he doesn’t have some stuff to clean up (and the drama that is sure to follow him is an obvious negative). Just saying I don’t think his performance yesterday was a “yikes” as far as QB1 talk goes. Who do you think QB1 is?

Is it between Sanders and Ward?

I don’t think so. I think this one is going to come down to Pro Days. They each take step forward and then 2 steps back. Milroe, Ewers, Nussmeier, , Beck, and Allar all still in the equation. Each as some strengths and weaknesses and thus the battle for #1 is wide open. Still glad I invested in 24 draft for my QB future instead.
