COLTS AT CHARGERS - MNF! (1 Viewer)

I don't understand how the Chargers coaches can watch Ryan Matthews run 11 times for 47 yards, look strong doing it, and still regularly pull him out when he's by far the most talented RB on the roster.

He's had fumbling problems in the past, but that can't be the only reason.

Because he will get injured? (Burgundy voice)

Yet they trust him running inside their own 20 where a fumble would be even more costly? He could still be really good if he's every in a situation where he can get into a rhythm.

If the Chargers are serious about winning any game, they need to lean on Gates a little harder.

Allen looks good to catch a bomb or two more this game.

ESPN sure knows how to put on the worst half time show. Seriously, was that anything except commercials and some Brady clips?

I blame Mathews. He obviously isn't trusted by the coaches - and there is a reason for that. This a situation where two different regimes that have basically used Mathews the same way.

I agree but i think thats why. He's a good back. If they used him near the goalline and a lot less predictably, he'd be starter material in fantasy.........but they don't and hes not.

a lot of offense for the Chargers - but few points.
I'm guessing tonight will prove a litmus test of whether Luck has already joined the pantheon of "You Can't Afford To Be Kicking FG's Against Him" QBs.

My guess is yes, but that's assuming his receiving corps stops putting on their Patriots impersonation.

I love the fact the NFL has become a passing league and the colts have the best young QB in the NFL yet they changed their offense to a power running game behind 3.0ypc. TRich and 1st rd bust Brown
