Colts running backs for the (fantasy) playoffs.... (1 Viewer)

Most fantasy playoffs are weeks 14-16, but some even go to week 17. Once Indy locks up homefield who do you guys foresee the Colts using beyond this week? Are Brown and/or Simpson worth starting?

The Colts have 2 open roster spots, and they talked to Dominic Rhodes this week. I want to see how they fill these spots before I answer this.

I am wondering if they lock it up if they won't rest BOTH Addai AND Brown, and just use Simpson? This seems possible to me.

odds are if everyone is sitting, I wouldnt want to start Chad Simpson in there with Jim sorgi under center anyway

Mike Hart is signed again (and a DE I've never heard of for the other spot). So - I'd say they'll play Simpson and Hart a lot if the Colts clinch early.

This is what I was thinking. I could see them sitting Addai. But why not give Brown the opportunity to see what he can do playing full time?

I think they know what they have with Brown running the ball, but he has been rarely targeted in the passing game. While it would make sense to work him in there, I don't know how much good it will do if its not Payton at QB.

Brown is a handicap in the passing game, as he can't block at all. His big play came when he ran the wrong pattern. Though it worked out well, it's not going to win you points with the QB when you're not where you're supposed to be.

The Colts have basically have all but sent out an official press release that they will sit starters. Polian said it. Caldwell said it (to Peter King). It will happen if the Colts win the next 2 games.

Apparently neither do you. But it doesnt take a genius to figure it out. The Colts have been doing it for years and have already made mention of it this year. I was asking if anyone had any insight to whom would get a majority of the load when Addai is sitting.
