Colts waived RB Mike Hart.

The Colts are obviously comfortable with Jospeh Addai's finger and Donald Brown's shoulder. Chad Simpson sticks as the No. 3 back. They'll likely try to get Hart back on the practice squad.

with Indy sitting 3 games ahead of everyone else in the AFC after 11 weeks, the chances of them wrapping up home field advantage ahead of week 16 are pretty decent at this point. Their wk 15-16 matchups aren't exceptional (@ JAX, vs NYJ) but aren't terrible either. i'd have to think if they do wrap up HF (so long as they aren't going for a perfect season), that they will rest their starters for the playoffs, including addai and donald brown who have both been dinged up lately. if Mike Hart is indeed out of the picture in Indy, i'd think that would mean a healthy dose of Chad Simpson after they secure HF. could make for an interesting WW stash for the playoffs.

any thoughts? any Indy homers agree/disagree?

If you extend your logic though, wouldn't you be starting Chad Simpson running behind a second string o-line while being supported by a Jim Sorgi led passing attack?

 And I remember when people on these boards were saying Hart was going to replace Addai.

fair point, but i'm not sure you could extend that logic to every position on the field. would they rest manning? of course. wayne/clark? probably. addai/d brown? i think so. the entire o-line? doubt it. all i'm saying is if indy clinches HF early, there is a guy on nearly every re-draft WW right now (chad simpson) who could very well get 20+ touches in what would be a meaningless game for Indy, but the most important fantasy week of the season for all of us. that is worth some attention/discussion, at least i would think.

 I agree... while Sorgi isn't Manning... anyone who gets 20 touches is valuable at RB (Portis/Brown owners would agree I think). IND is typically deep at WR--and I'm not sure they rest all their WR's anyway.. and Sorgi is there because he's a decent backup... so its not like IND O grinds to a stop with no Manning/Wayne.. and usually they don't rest O line unless they're dinged/way ahead....
