There were some unexpected team openings in my dynasty league yesterday.
The league is a 16-franchise IDP dynasty league with a "contract year" cap in lieu of a traditional salary cap. We use football dollars to acquire free agents through an auction proxy bid process. We are in our second year of existence.
At the bottom of this message is a link to the bylaws in case you might be interested in taking it over one of the teams. The open teams are labeled "Franchise xx". Be advised that it does take considerably more time than a regular redraft league because franchise owners are expected to be active during the off-season. The normal cost is $6 per year; the league winner is awarded $25 at the end. Of couse, this season the fees have already been paid.
