Started out 1 - 5 due to early season injuries to McNabb, LT, Welker, and Boldin. Finished at 7 -6 and squeaked into the playoffs as the last seeed. Won my first round game last weekend and now in the final four. Traded for Warner mid-way thru the season (for Palmer/Harvin) and picked Austin up off the wire after his initial huge game vs KC (I was lucky to be in second-to last last place at that time and had #2 waiver wire priority. Last place team took Maclin just before I got Austin). It's been a roller coaster season - but aren't they all?

Here's what I see in common, taking from the 8 teams left in my 2 $ leagues. I'm going by starting lineups only, which is why I have a few conditional people included.

Definitely a lot of variance and a few names I didn't expect to see....

Ray Rice and Hines Ward are two names that keep popping up on playoff teams. MSW, Vincent Jackson, Driver and Mendenhall too. I see players that were tremendous mid-late round values being the difference makers.

Brees, Schaub, Manning, SJax, CJ4.24, AJ, Welker, Marshall, MJD & Wayne are the obvious ones.

Yup. Schaub/AJ/Rice/Austin for me and very common in my leagues.

Arizona D (4 teams FA pickup but used various others (mostly Indy) during the season).

All 4 playoff teams have different QBs and different TEs. Always drafted TEs late or not at all but did trade for Gates in one league. Only two QBs I drafted was Brees in one league and Warner in another. Did not draft a QB in either of the other two leagues. Picked up FAs Flacco and Favre in one league, traded for Romo in another. Did not draft a kicker in any league of course and only drafted Indy D late in two leagues. In other words, spent virtually all my high and mid round picks on RBs and WRs in all 4 leagues with the only exceptions the two QB picks.
