I have been looking for an auction league that fits like the NFL. With that said, I am starting up a 12 man $70 complete team league with 22 starters. I am currently getting the scoring perfect, but you can check out the initial stuff here: http://www26.myfantasyleague.com/2014/home/74208#0
Here's a quick rundown and I would also take some input if someone sees something they think can better the league.
Initial auction will be $500 to fill 44 man roster. These salaries will then be kept and you will also be given $200 in blind bid dollars. The in season cap limit for year 1 would be $700. Each year, contracts will increase by 7%. The cap will increase yearly by 5%. After players are cut there will be a free agent auction and a rooke draft with slotted cap numbers.
Starters
Offense:
QB RB WR TE PK PN OLINE 4-RB/WR/TE Flex
Defense:
2 DT 2 DE 3 LB 2 CB 2 S
Scoring will be weighted evenly. A top notch K or PN can score the same for a good performance as other positions do.
As far as my experience, I am in many leagues. I have been in the Fantasy Recruit leagues since inception and am one of the more active owners. I was also involved in the Black and Blue IDP Dynasties.
Cost will be $70.
Top 5 teams make playoffs each year with 3 division winners and 2 Wild Cards.
Payouts:
Regular Season Champion - $70
1st - $450
2nd - $200
3rd - $50
Payouts will be 100% via League Safe minus MFL fee ($70)
