Computer Help - Pic Transfers From Windows 10 Pro to Window PC (1 Viewer)

Need a little help.  Searched the net and the way that I thought would work probably won't with Windows 10.

Have a lot of personal pics on one laptop that I want to transfer to another.

Thought I could buy a data transfer cable, and copy and paste, but I don't think that is an option any longer.

What is the best way to handle this?  Cloud, software?

Just share the pictures folder and copy them over the network.

Pro might not let you do the home network thing, but you should still be able to share a folder. Might have to get cute with usernames though.

Get a portable hard drive. You should use it to back up any important info in addition to the photos.

This.  Always nice to have a portable HD anyway. Go get one.  They are cheap

At the least get a Flash Drive you can back some things up on it to make the transfer easy
