I'm looking to establish a long term core of only the best fantasy football minds. Each entrant to the league will be subject to an "interview" process and fantasy "background check" (just try not to "lol" at those terms).
The idea was born from the vestiges of dissatisfaction I experience in my other leagues. 2 or 3 noobish owners, unintuitive scoring, unrealistic inefficiencies to exploit, etc. etc.
I'm building this from the ground up to be as reflective of the NFL as is practical from a fantasy standpoint... so that relative positional value/importance is done justice... and so that every relevant action on the football field is scored appropriately and fits within the context of the rest of the scoring...
LOGICAL, INTUITIVE, REALISTIC...
I'm going to be very selective in who I invite, because incompetence and inactivity will not be tolerated...
I don't believe in trade vetoes as a matter of principle, so there will be no league veto process... all trades go through, immediately..
