Condoleeza Rice and 49ers? huh? (1 Viewer)

why is this a "huh?" after all, she was provost of stanford. it's not like this is a gigantic stretch.

Not only that, but she follows the NFL closer than many of us nuts do.

She has said in the past that being NFL commish would be a dream job, so I guess based on her career to dtate, underestimating her ability to become a serious candidate for any NFL job would be done at your own peril.

good point. she was also in a long term relationship with a former NFL player. she's a very big NFL fan.

Sounds like a good fit to me. Couldn't hurt the 9ers either. Especially with Singletary as coach and Condi in management, that team would be off to a great start at rebuilding.

Mark Chamura? Jack Tatum?

Michael Irvin?

O. J. Simpson?

But somebody already did to the team what she does best....

Run it into the ground.

Maybe they want to pay her to go shoe shopping during a crisis?

You have to wonder at the judgment of someone who is involved with one of the biggest train wrecks of all time, wanting to jump into the middle of one of the biggest train wrecks in sport.
