Look, I have no issue with Cliff Lee. And I can believe that maybe he had some good stuff in that second start. And I know you know your #### when it comes to baseball. Numbers can lie, but I don't think they can lie that much. Three of the four he walked were either the first or second batters he faced in an inning (I can't believe I'm actually looking this crap up). I don't see why it's a big deal to say it wasn't a good start. But I'm finished arguing about it.
Fair enough, my defensiveness is stemming mostly from watching that game and seeing his defense cave anytime they could have made a play. 4 BB's is unusual for Cliff, that's very true, my impression of that game is probably just blinded a bit by the horrible defense I watched that day. I guess I was the only one that wasn't worried about Cliff at that point and am puzzled why many are a-buzz about Cliff again after his recent two starts (not just on this site).
