I was pretty high on Jackson heading into this season, but now I don't know what to think. Does he still hold decent long term potential?
I have a chance to pull off a decent sized trade. As part of the package, Conor Jackson would be swung my way.
Now, we can keep up to 15/23 players per year in a 2.60 salary cap league. I'm in year one, so I'm looking to move guys I can't keep in return for cheaper guys.
Now, getting Jackson will save me about .34 at the position. EXCEPT that Jackson is in year one of a three year guaranteed contract. So essentially, I'll get him the next two years at the same salary.
