After what you wrote, I did a deep dive into what folks on teh net consider the top albums from the 1930s. Some really great and worthy stuff back there, I will have to let you know if any of my guesses are on your list. Sadly, it didn't even occur to me to look that far back.

There are several great classical songs that I like other than the big 2 Beetoven's 5th and Mozart's Requiem. I enjoy Chopin's raindrops and Grieg's In the Hall of the Mountian King. Of course we all love Toccata and Fugue and many other classical songs the get used in movies. Many moons ago, BP used to go to a fireworks show on the 4th of July and for the finale it was a rapid burst of fireworks set to the 1812 Overture so I always enjoyed that one. If I had put in a modicum of effort perhaps I could have found an album of classical music. Sadly, I don't think my John Williams Greatest hits album was eligible.

If you’re putting in a spreadsheet or Google sheet the hyphens are not necessary. I just put them there as separators for those typing out a list.

At this point everyone’s Top 8 make the Top 300 without any “help”.

It's possible 20 or more of my albums aren't listed by anyone else.

I would think in this format (as opposed to the MAD formats) it would make sense to hold off on the just missed callouts until either that particular album gets revealed or until after the top 300 are announced.

Same with listing out your albums that didn’t make the top 300 before everything is revealed (unless Dr Oc wants to give out the highest ranking from each person to miss the top 300 like we did for TV).

I’m just a curmudgeon who likes to be surprised though, so that’s just my preference.
