After touring in support of their previous album Ignition (1992), the band recorded their next album for nearly two months at Track Record in North Hollywood, California. Smash was the band's final studio album to be produced by Thom Wilson, who had worked with them since their 1989 debut album The Offspring. American Woman is the sixth studio album by Canadian rock band the Guess Who, released in January 1970. It was the last to feature lead guitarist Randy Bachman until a reformation effort in 1983. The album was one of their most successful releases, receiving Gold certification in the United States.
The album contains several of the group's most popular hits, including the title cut and "No Sugar Tonight", which together reached number one in Canada and the US, and a remake of "No Time", a song the group previously recorded for Canned Wheat. The newer version was released as a single and is the one most familiar to listeners. The album's musical styles consists of psychedelic rock and hard rock.
They also used Crystal Blue Persuasion to good effect. But I can't say I was a huge fan of The Ballad of Heisenberg.I was hoping that Breaking Bad's use of "Baby Blue" would give Badfinger the much-deserved renaissance it deserved, much like The Sopranos' use of "Don't Stop Believing" did for Journey. Didn't seem to happen, but so be it - BF still have us fans.Between the two well-known songs, I lean Day After Day over Baby Blue.

BB wasn’t a very music/soundtrack heavy show IIRC. Some of the intense acting was silent and perhaps music would have detracted from it. It was recorded monophonically on June 22, 1956, with producer Bob Weinstock and engineer Rudy Van Gelder at the latter's studio in Hackensack, New Jersey. Rollins led a quartet on the album that included pianist Tommy Flanagan, bassist Doug Watkins, and drummer Max Roach.

Hysteria is the fourth studio album by English rock band Def Leppard, released on 3 August 1987, by Mercury Records. The album is the follow-up to the band's 1983 breakthrough, Pyromania. Hysteria's creation took over three years and was plagued by delays, including the aftermath of drummer Rick Allen's accident that cost him his left arm on 31 December 1984. Subsequent to the album's release, Def Leppard published a book titled Animal Instinct: The Def Leppard Story, written by Rolling Stone magazine senior editor David Fricke, on the three-year recording process of Hysteria and the difficult times the band endured through the mid-1980s. Lasting 62 minutes and 32 seconds, it is the band's longest studio album to date.

I listened to this album for the first time when walking my dog today. It’s probably not one Id return to often, as it’s a little too heavy for my current tastes but I really liked it and will probably add a few songs like “The Rat” (which is fantastic) and “138th Street” to some playlists.
