Considering Recent Topic Threads - Can We Talk About Ryan Bingham's The Weary Kind? (1 Viewer)

Never heard the song or artist before.

Reminds me of last call, sipping a bourbon neat, cigarette in hand, on the patio of a biker/karaoke bar in some small town in the oil patch, a girl I recently loved in the wind, surrounded by a blur of faces and conversations that carry no significance, floating in between bliss and sorrow, gazing at that 3/4 moon and field of stars in the desert sky, tempted to get in the car and drive a thousand miles across the desert and plains with the windows down and John Prine turned up, wondering if I can catch up to that fleeting moment of perfection, if it really exists, or ever did.

Thank you Rock, I needed to remember that right about now.

Caught the end of a late night airing of Crazy Heart.

Solid movie. Bingham's music connects on a primal level with me.

He also wrote the theme song from the short lived west Texas series "The Bridge" which was an awesome show. (may be biased from living in the Borderland)

And starred in (and provided music for) the indie TX film "A Country Called Home" with the always beautiful and talented Imogen Poots.

And and has a recurring role in Yellowstone (Montana ranch drama with Kevin Costner that debuted last summer)

Wolves

Nobody Knows my Trouble

Hallelujah

Thanks again for this thread. Love this talented dude. An authentic NM/TX artist.

I still don't understand how you get banned on a weekly basis for ####ty/drunk/delusional/hateful posting and then pop up 2 minutes later with one of your dozen alias and the mods don't bat an eye.

Do you have pics/video of Joe doing naughty things to children?

Guys, it's Christmas. I can't believe I took this thread out, but it's still an awesome song by an awesome artist. Thanks, NFL2DF, for having my back on this one.

Wolves is awesome even after just a cursory first listen. Nobody Knows My Trouble rules, too.
