Was just curious.  I use it for most purchases I make and think it's one of the better pay for play resources out there.  Combine with Angie's List to avoid Otis situations IMHO. 

 
Haven't used it in years. Internet seemed to have replaced it for me.

Have used Angie's List quite a few times and have had good results. Haven't had to hire anyone in awhile that required me looking up :knocksonwood:

This makes sense but the thing about Consumer Reports is that there are thousands of people taking surveys all year long on things they have purchased.  So you can get a review on car and driver about a 2013 car, but CR has the data on how that car has performed and how much it breaks down.  They also do research on thousands of items.  I like it, I'll use other sources sometimes then always come back to CR.

I do like that it cuts out some of the crap that you get from internet reviewers as well.
