Looking for an experienced owner who wants a re-build in a contract dynasty league. Must be active year round. I’m saying it’s a challenge upfront, because I want to attract a mindset that is looking for a rebuild. I am coming out of a rebuild myself and I enjoy the grind and I can see the light now.
This is by far my favorite format. The math is simple: you have a 60 year cap and 21 active slots and 6 player taxi squad where you can let your rookies marinate before you issue them a contract. We are adding an extra slot from 5 to 6 this year after the rookie draft in July.
Essentials:
a. Pricing: $60
b. Roster: “Open Team” http://football12.myfantasyleague.com/2013/options?L=16569&O=07
c. Rookie Draft format: Email slow draft in July with 24 hour clock per pick that usually last 10– 12 days with about 50 picks including comp picks.
d. Rules: scalable ppr: .5 rb, 1 wr, 1.5 te. QB scoring is amplified: 2 pt per completion, -1 per incompletion. Can start 1-2 rbs, 2-4 wrs, 1-2 te.
e. Waiver rules: FAs are done through auctions on the message board in the offseason. BBW and then FCFS during regular season
f. Host: MFL
g. Prizes / payout: see rule book
h. Playoff structure: 4 Div Champs and then 2 WC based on All-Play record
