Cooley, the next Gonzalez? (1 Viewer)

The lack of touches for Cooley is disappointing to say the least. Is it time to drop him to pick up Colston?

Patriots want to have the league look into tampering against the Jets

I have a bad bad life

Why does Mewelde Moore never look like he can turn the corner

Kornheiser is fantastic, Theisman has met his match...Although I do feel they need a better play-by-play guy than Mike Tirico.

How the heck can somebody make the point that a DH can beat out a position player for MVP... It should only happened if the DH is at least 35% better than the position player.. A good position player can impact the game in so many different ways...

Chad Johnson has done two things in the last 2 years

1) made a TON of money with endorsements

2) made a TON of fantasy football players huge Bengals fans

Fantasy Football is VERY good for players on small-market players... The best players are shown in a way they never would/could have been 20 years ago.

Longwell didn't even look close on that... GO BACK TO GREENBAY they need a bad kicker

:goodposting: Instantly improved this entire thread.

Seriously, this is bad. Anyone dropping him after this game? I usually don't overreact, but he worried me before the game, and now it confirms he's worthless

Okay, seeing we are going to take this dumb thread seriously, what made anybody think that Saunders was going to work miracles with Cooley? After all, can you name the TE that Saunders worked with prior to Gonzalez? Of course not. The idea that Saunders was some sort of TE guru was complete foolishness.

Saunders didn't need to work miracles with Cooley, guy. He was already a pretty good tight end.

Considering they're about to lose due in no small part to an inept offense, I wouldn't be surprised if Saunders makes a more concerted effort to get Cooley more involved next week.

I waited til the 11th round in two leagues, thought Cooley would be a steal. Is there any evidence that he'll be better this year than Colston or Dallas Clark?

I'm ready to cut bait, he looked more like a blocker today than a TE.

Come on.... no way you thought he was the next Gonzalez last year.

Do you have a point?

I thought he would be a top 5 TE. If the original poster really thought that adding Saunders would make him #1, then you're right, it is pretty foolish.

Since I'm a 6th grade teacher I give this thread creator an F. The title has nothing to do w/ your post. Haha...Sorry bud, you are failing 6th grade English. Excuse me for getting off topic.

Anyway... the Redskins have many weapons in Randel El, Moss, Lloyd, Portis, and Cooley. That's a lot of hands to get touches with others discontent. Cooley will have his good games but don't count on a real consistent season. You cannot count on Brunell to perform at the level he did for the initial 3/4 of last season.

My .2, you have change for a $1

I'm sorry my thread topic was so vague, but all offseason, people on this board were expecting a great season from Cooley, since Saunders did great things with Gonzalez.

Given what I've seen this first game, I'm thinking he's not worth rostering in my league with a roster of 14. I'm going to drop him and pick up Marques Colston or Dallas Clark instead.

Just thought I'd see if I was the only one that gathered this from today's game.
