Jets signed WR Jerricho Cotchery to a multi-year contract extension.

We'll be interested to see the terms, but it's a great move for the Jets. Cotchery is nails-tough, intelligent, and surprisingly good after the catch. A perfect complement to Laveranues Coles, Cotchery should remain one of the better number two receivers in the league and a quality fantasy WR2/3 during his prime.

get those extensions in before the entire scale goes through the roof kids! Great move by the jets.

Glad to see Jericho was so successful last year and he is being rewarded for it. Up until last year, I was a little scared Jericho was the product of great QBing at NC State, but he has really done well for himself and proven me wrong.

:lmao: Time to go order my new #89 jersey.

I think the article is understating his role though - he's the #2 guy now to Coles, but I could see that gradually changing.

Just found the details of the contract and it looks like a reasonable one that will keep him with the Jets for the length of the deal.

Jets making the right moves, things may not always pan out the way you want or expect them to, but at least as a Jets fan you know they are making the right moves
