Hey guys. I have a couple of situations I need to figure out asap and any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Is Dansby going to play this week? I have Gerald Hayes and am currently starting him, partly because Dansby might be out. When Dansby is in, I am not sure if Hayes will play in the nickel spot. With Dansby out, I am fairly confident that Hayes will play in the nickel package.

2. I chose to pick up Charles Woodson over Roman Harper today . I think Harper will get many tackles but he is a rookie and the Saints are changing guys in and out of positions more than Paris Hilton does on a Saturday night . Plus, our league awards points for return yards and I believe Woodson is the punt returner for the Packers.

1. Dansby is listed as OUT on the injury report. It's likely to be Hayes and Darling in the nickel packages until Dansby comes back, then all bets are off.2. Sorry but . Not as bad with the return yards involved, but I'll be surprised if Harper doesn't put up big numbers behind Mark Simoneau this week.

Thanks Jene. I'm thinking about getting Harper. But our league also awards PD as well. Here is a quick run down of the DB points:

assist = 1 (points)

tackle = 3

PD = 5

sack = 14

INT = 15

Fum Rec = 15

TD = 20

Each 10 yards of TD = 1

Returns:

TD = 20

10 yards = 1

100 yards = 5 point bonus (100 yards would be 15)

My thinking was that Woodson would get some PDs and return yards.

That's an interesting system. Definitely a big play oriented league. I can see where corners are valued highly. Without seeing the breakdown, PD nearly twice as valuable as tackles and interceptions five times as valuable as a tackle probably made 80-85% of your top twenty DBs corners. I still don't like Charles Woodson, but I guess I can't argue with taking a shot at the big play potential of a corner in that setup, especially with the return yards.

Yeah, I guess it depends on if I want big play potential or consistancy. Considering the rest of defense is stacked, I will probably go with consistancy.

DL = S. Rice, Peppers

LB = Urlacher, Bulluck, EJ Henderson, G. Hayes

DB = S. Taylor, A. Wilson

Woodson or Harper wouldn't even start. They are there for depth...unless Harper starts to get 8 tackles a game.

I'd grab Harper because if he becomes a home run, he's an every week home run, most likely. Woodson is likely to be inconsistent week to week even if he hits.
