Zealots Field dynasty league; non-PPR; start 1QB/1RB/3WR/1TE/2 non-QB flex; pretty standard points.

I would trade Kirk Cousins and the 1.09 rookie pick for his 2018 #1.

His team was 4-9 this year, 7th in points; my team was 7-6 this year, 3rd in points.

I also have Luck, Dak, Alex Smith and Russell Wilson at QB.

I prefer having Cousins and the 1.09.  I am guessing you are willing to gamble that the pick is an early pick next year but it feels to me like giving Cousins away.

Obviously you are trying to improve on the 1.09 spot in the following year.  What are the chances that this guy's pick will be higher than that in 2018?  Especially with acquiring Cousins.  I agree you need to trade a QB or two based on what you have but I wouldn't want to include the 1.09 with it as well.  I just don't see that you will be improving your team much with this deal. 

I would put all your QB's on the block and trade the one or two that get the best return.

1.09 by itself for 2018 1st. As far as qb goes, you can tell who needs one, make an offer. Don't expect much. Or wait for an injury- I traded Mariota for what ended up the 1.07 this year. No one wants to give a 1st for a qb, but they will if they have a decent roster and are looking at starting keenum week 3...

you can keep a few if you have bigger rosters, but cut it down. Not getting anything for smith and he just eats a spot, you will never start him.

Yeah don't do that. U hope it's going to be a high 1st, but it's a random 18 1st, could be 1.12. Depends on ur lg, but id for sure drop Smith, and maybe u could sell high on Dak if someone's buying.

I traded Alex Smith and Tim Hightower for 2018 3rd and 5th round rookie picks.

Based on the fact that I would be unlikely to ever play either, I'm happy with it.
