**Cowboys at Browns** (-2.5, 41) 4:25 (1 Viewer)

Cleveland has a good defense
And a questionable offense at best pending the performance of Mr. Watson
Dallas has a good defense but is missing a part or two
Dallas does not have a questionable offense, unless it's the postseason
But this isn't the postseason so...

America's Former team- 23
Keebler Elves- 16

Seems like a tough pick. Not addressing the RB position will haunt the 'Boys and force them to do things outside the box for a hard fought win.

Browns WR and TE
Cooper was around 28 on rankings and Njoku 9th
I feel like you gotta start those guys though if you drafted them as starters
Dallas was 5th against TEs last year so this is actually a tougher match up than usual for Njoku
Many are also saying Njoku didn't fair well with Watson at QB

I don't know how you could start any of the Dallas RB, outside of Prescott, CDL and Ferguson maybe

Does feels like a lower scoring game
Dallas 21...Cleveland 20

The Boys have more fire power on both sides of the ball.

Cowboys 27
Browns - 17
Well, no. Browns D is better. What I've noticed over the years is that a so-so offense vs a so-so defense will score more than a top offense vs a top D. That's what I see here -- if you put the DAL O in that category.

Usually early in the season, defense is ahead of offense timing wise. Dallas is rolling out a new D which makes me worried. Plus CD Lamb might need a week to get up to speed. I hope not.

Not even game 1, and the Browns are likely down both starting OTs already, not ideal when facing Parsons and co.

I think this is a lower scoring defense fest, where I trust Dak a hell of a lot more than Watson. Also expecting CeeDee Lamb to have a nice game, despite the contract dispute. I think 12-15 targets are in his future.

Cowboys (to win) and the under.

This is Brady's premiere in the booth as a Broadcaster
I'm looking forward to hearing Tom call a football game
On the one hand I think he's likely to be stiff and disappoint but on the other hand I'm intrigued with the amount of knowledge he brings into the booth
Might take him a couple games to find his rhythm or he might come right out of the box and put a new spin on things
I can't wait to hear him unload on bad QB play, clock management should be a pet peeve of his, and overall questionable play calling.
The play by play announcer is under an immense amount of pressure working side by side with Brady as well

Njoku is a mismatch for Kendricks. One advantage I'll give the vet is he may sniff out the screens, but one-on-one gimme the freak.

I think this game is won and lost on the Dallas rookie corner and the Browns LT. As long as the OL holds up I like this spot for CLE, just not much on Dallas beyond the obvious Lamb. He'll get his, but I don't think Schwartz allows him to go nuts.

This sounds promising. 😀

Zeke rejuvenated.
Cowboys offense has looked surprisingly good against this Browns Def, which has played like crap.

What a terrible offensive game plan by Cleveland. Down both tackles against a ferocious pass rush. They have dropped back to pass 13 times and run 3. Watson is not that guy anymore.

Stupid Dallas cost me a 66 yard FG on 30 teams stupid idiots can't get the play off or call timeout

Did they definitely have a timeout? Play by play seems to say so. That would have been a good idea. But I guess when you can have your $250 million qb throw a wounded duck to end the half, you just have to do it

Watson is done. Cleveland will be on the hunt for a QB…again.
Was Watson ever actually good? I’m starting to wonder.

Also, who was the best browns qb since Bernie? I know the broadcast spent a bunch of time ****ting on them for their terrible qbs, but I have been wondering.

Holcomb? Is couch in the running ?

I guess it was actually mayfield probably. Kind of forgot about his time there already…
