Both had a dismal week 7, but the NYJ DEF had been coming on strong before this week.

The Cowboys DEF was not doing spectacular, but have been ok for the most part.

What's the general consensus on these 2 going forward?

I'm not sold on the Jets the rest of the way. Depends on the scoring system. Here's their upcoming schedule and the rankings of the offenses they play:Jets:8: Chiefs 1-5, 75 points scored, 29th in total yds 2579: @ Bills 5-1, 149 points, 17th in total yds 32210: Rams 2-4, 96 points, 31st in total yds 25211: @ Pats 4-2, 130 points, 19th in total yds 31612: @ Titans 6-0, 149 points, 21st in total yds 31513: Broncos 4-3, 195 points, 4th in total yds 38214: @ 49ers 2-5, 158 points, 24th in total yds 29915: Bills 5-1, 149 points, 17th in total yds 32216: @ Seahawks 1-5, 110 points, 28th in total yds 258The Jets do have nice matchups weeks 8, 10, and 16. Especially in total points scored by opponents during the week 14-16 stretch. Dallas defense is probably only better than Detroit and Kansas City at this point.
