Cowboys WR Owens undergoes MRI on his leg

OXNARD, Calif. – Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens, who is nursing a sore hamstring, had a magnet resonance imaging exam on his leg and did not participate in Saturday morning’s walk-through.

Results from the MRI exam are not known yet.

Owens has missed practices the past two days and again on Saturday. He will not participate in the evening scrimmage.

Owens has spent the past two days riding a stationary bike and doing rehab work with the trainers.

wow! last I read was that his hammy was not bad and no need for MRI. Maybe it is worse than they thought?

Be great if he was gone for the whole season, then we'd hear about TO for a full week and not have to hear about him anymore. They should rename NFL live to TO Live.

(KFFL) ESPN.com reports Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens (hamstring) missed a walk-through Saturday, Aug. 5, morning and will undergo an MRI to determine if he has a tear, or other damage, in his hamstring. Up to this point, Owens has described the injury as just soreness. He will be held out of practice Saturday afternoon.

An MRI taken of WR Terrell Owens' left hamstring on Saturday revealed no structural damage. "I'm not worried at all," said Owens, who has never had a hamstring problem before. "I know it'll get well. I know my body responds very quickly to treatment." Owens will get an opportunity to practice with the team on Monday.

Wilson's hit sent Bell flying backward. In other news, DT Gerard Warren cheapshotted undrafted rookie RB Mike Bell when he clotheslined him away from the action in the move-the-ball period. Warren's arm sent Mike Bell's helmet flying. Warren was called for unsportsmanlike conduct by the visiting officiating crew.AP reports Denver Broncos DL Gerard Warren will be out two to four weeks after dislocating a toe on his left foot during a goal-line drill Saturday. Warren fell to the ground, screamed in pain and clutched his foot after participating in the drill. He was carted off the field, though the news on the injury wasn't as bad as it first appeared it could be. "It was a (scary moment) for a second," Denver DC Larry Coyer said. "We're blessed." The injury occurred when rookie running back Mike Bell tried to find an opening in the defense from 2 yards out. It appeared Warren may have been stepped on or someone had fallen on him. He screamed in pain as LB Al Wilson and other teammates came over to check on him.

That's absolutely hilarious.Regarding TO, a hammy tear would be some bad news. :(
