Cracked.com is a great website - I would not have known about team MMA (1 Viewer)

One of the few site I visit almost every day is cracked.com. Tons of interesting articles on there all the time. Lots of articles devoted to just debunking things that people don't even think about,

I've often thought that MMA in the United States is only a step or two away from Roman Gladiator style combat. Other countries apparently have a bit more hardcore approach. Cracked posted an article today about this called "6 Real Martial Arts Tournaments Crazier than Mortal Kombat."

For those who haven't read Cracked.com some of their articles are peppered with NSFW language but it's usually hilariously written.

this team MMA, or the Hip show, is actually coming to USofA. They are filming episodes in Tennessee right now. My jiu-jitsu instructor mentioned it to me today, checking to see if I'd be interested in going on the show. He said that two guys from our school were thinking about it, but they both have fights coming up soon that they are prepping for.

The thing about this team MMA business - those guys are wearing full headgear, so you won't take nearly the damage you would in a cage fight. Also, it's only 2 minute rounds, which is far less grueling than 3 or 5 minute rounds.

I'm not gonna do it, but it looks fun.

The pillow fighting was a lot more fighting than what I had envisioned. The gang wars were pretty crazy too. I don't understand why people would sign up for something like that.
