The Top-3 hits on top of my head:Brad Smith's* hit on a defender as he was going out of bounce. It literally ended the career of the other player.Jerome Bettis' hit on a Bengals defender. Earl Campbell helmet-to-the-chest of another player as he was going to the end zone.*Correction, Michael Robinson.
That wasn't a defender, it was a Detroit Lion.

The DB also gets slammed pretty hard in the back of the head by a forearm shiver from his own guy after Bell hits him. Poor Detroit.
He beat some pretty good defenders on the play... Wilfork, Sean Taylor, and Meriweather.
As vicious as that hit was, it was pretty stupid. Nice way to possibly break your own neck.

When healthy he is a pretty good FB. All the injuries have caused him to lose some quickness imo.

talk about illegal hits, he was so incredibly vicious. Rodney Harrison was a good Samaritan on the field compared to chuck cecil. Chuck wasn't that great a safety but my lord did he ever intimidate WR crossing the middle.i can't find the clip but a there was a ravens/broncos game a few years ago where when i think ed reed was returning a long FG that came up short and Ray Lewis completely blindsided a reserve bronco LB'er(i think Edward Burns) and the guy literally did a backflip in the air from the crushing blindside hit.many blindside hits are good cinema. Sapp's blindside on Chad Clifton(dilocated both his hitps), Ward's hit on Keith Rivers(Broken Jaw) this yearoh hell i forgot the hit that is the icon of my fantasy league, Chuck Bednarik's hit on Frank Gifford. when they think u may have killed someone with your hit then its legit. In concrete charlie's own words he tried to kill whomever he was about to hit
Saw him at TC one year and he drove as recklessly and he played football. I kept hoping he wouldn't kill somebody.
Or when he crushed Charles Woodson in early in last year's NFC title game. That was a brutal hit in any weather but when you factor in the cold conditions of that game. Ouch. Kind of set the tone for the game...
