Credit Reports....best website to order them? (with scores) (1 Viewer)

I'd like to see all three of my credit reports with the scores.

What is a good website to use? I understand I might need to pay a little to get all of them with the scores.

Thanks.

Annualcreditreport.com used to give you 1 free report every 12 months.

Don't remember if you got your score

You don't get your score for free, but it does take you to each site where they will all attempt to sell you your scores and credit monitoring etc. Getting scores from each works best and probably cheapest too.

You don't get your scores but you do get all the detail that's on the report and a highlighted section showing items that are dragging down you rating.

Do you want to see your actual report with actual (mostly) FICO scores? myfico.com

If you just want to see your report and an idea of how good your credit is with a simulated score, places like credit.com and creditkarma will fit the bill.

There are also ways to get a monthly real credit score if you have the right bank accounts and credit cards.

For actual scores, I wouldn't recommend going out and signing up for a credit card just to get this, because I don't want to advocate signing up for something that could impact your credit score. With that said, as a new perk to card customers credit card issuers now provide you with a refreshed version of your actual credit score on a monthly basis. The score that you get is based on the credit reporting bureau that the card provider is aligned with. I get all 3 of my scores monthly and track them via the following credit cards:

Citi Double Cash M/C - Equifax

Sallie Mae M/C - TransUnion

AmEx Blue - Experian

Discover Card as well

Yes, Discover and Barclaycard offer TransUnion. I have a BarclayCard and Amex for two scores, and a credit union account that gives Equifax scores.

Why do you need to buy all three scores? As long as the reports are accurate, which you will be able to get via your free reports on annualcreditreport.com, them your scores will be within a reasonable amount if each other. Personally I would get the equifax score if I was going to pay for one and be done. If you are going for a mortgage and want an idea of where you stand, then you can buy two of them and be OK as the mortgage company is just going to use the middle score anyway and as a FBG I assume you are rocking an 800 anyway.

FICO scores myfico.com

All other sites don't use FICO scores and are a waste of time.
Anyway to get your fico score for free? I went to the site and couldn't find anything that didn't require a decent sized fee.

Apply for credit and get turned down. Some credit card issuers give monthly scores.

Here is a discount for the Fico 3b Report(FICO® Score 8 from each of the 3 bureaus; one 3-bureau credit report; FICO® Score Simulator; and additional FICO® Score versions with your 3-bureau credit report). Brings it down to 47.88.

Own a Walmart Card, Discover Card, Barclay Card, American Express Card. Probably a few others that give out free monthly scores to their members as well. There are also a few credit unions that give out free monthly scores to members.

CreditKarma was mentioned, also CreditSesame.com. Both offer your score as well as quite a bit of info about your credit report. They make money if you click through their "recommended deals" to sign up for credit, so there is no weird "why is this free" questions, cause there is plenty of money to be made with that model.
