Is Crocker starting this week?I have seen two depth charts (NFL.com,FBGs) that list him as a backup, yet this site have him ranked high this week.I also have Polamalu, and currently have him on the bench in favor of Crocker, but maybe this needs changed? I think that GB will run the ball more, making Crocker an excellent play if he starts, and Brett Favre will certainly throw up a few picks.Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.(edited to remove his exact FBG rank this week for non-subscribers)

Not a Cleveland homer, but everything I've read is that Crocker is starting at SS, not at FS, as your post implied. That is important, because if he was moved to FS, then he would not, IMO, be a good start. He is, however, a good start at SS. I assume that you meant SS? If anyone knows anything to contrary, please report it.

Stay w/ Polamalu. He's done nothing to show you any reason of why he should be benched. He could get you a sack, int and plenty of tackles every game. In Crocker, we have to see how it goes. Speculation is that he taken the spot from S. Jones. IF he continues to play at the level he showed lst week (and at the end of last year), he could take the spot for good. Until then, stay w/ stud you have. If people just went by ranking...little to none would start R. Harrison this week. So, don't overthink it. IMOBTW - I have been thinking of playing Crocker in place of Sean Taylor, but seeing how Taylor is lining up at WR in the Redzone has got me wondering if it I should or not myself.

Definitely agree. Wouldn't start Crocker over Troy. I would, however, start Crocker over Taylor, regardless if he sees any time at WR. JMO.
