Two bad teams, seemingly both going in the same direction.........NOWHERE.

should be fun anyway.

Im more exited about cutler than this series.

I wish Cub fans good luck on the year and hope they win it all unless they face my Sox. I have a bunch of friends here in Chicago most are cub fans and I want them to enjoy a championship and have fun.

Im not trying to sound like some snobby sox fans who are like "since 2005 this does not mean anything any more"

now sure among friends we will go back and forth, but in a friendly way. I am more concerned when the sox loose to Detroit or Min than the cubs.

some people take this way to far, and give the other fans who like that team a bad name.

You have bad hair

If that mic would have crapped out for 20 more seconds, we wouldn't have had to listen to that buffoon Santo butcher the stretch.

Great to see Danks pitch so well although from what I hear from my Cub fan friends they are not hitting worth a dang right now.

My favorite sequence of the game Danks pulling back the bunt to slap it to Guzman who made a good play to get an out, but advanced the runner to 3rd for Podsednick's bunt rbi single.

Going tomorrow to right the SINKING SUNK ship

You guys do realize it is a 162 game season ? :goodposting:
Hell yea, but other than a strong starting rotation (which is very important)I see nothing on this team right now that excites me.

Soriano, ####u, Soto, Bradley are quality players that are playing like horsebleep.

They ( the four mentioned ) may turn it around, but I sure as hell see no signs of it happening.

Aramis is going to miss another month, and who the hell know how he'll be when he comes back.

It may take a good month to get him into full gear. Maybe not at all.

I just see no spark, no drive in the guys this year. They may turn it around, there is time, but time is fleeting every day.

I just don't see it happening. I'd be happy as hell if I was wrong though.

OK.The full season success like last season is an unusual thing and I told some of my friends that hopefully they didn't peek to soon.

sometimes a team gets stronger chemistry going through some early season struggles and righting the ship and getting hot at teh right time.

Just saying after last season and hearing Cub fans so over the top in their praise and support all season seeing the universal slamming of this years squad is puzzling to me.

Why the heck did they get rid of Delarosa?

Ozzie said he pukes every time he goes to Wrigley. :lmao: As do I Ozzie, what a ####hole.
This is shtick, right?
Not really, the visitors clubhouse might as well be a dungeon. Outside of looking pretty on television, Wrigley is a ####hole. Still fun to watch a game there, but I half expect to the park to fall apart any day now...

Typical Cubs-Sox, these two teams pretty much always have the best interleague showdowns. 34-34 now.

Looks like Gavin Floyd and Alexei Ramirez are playing like studs again, along with Derrick Lee. Too bad we don't get a deciding game till freakin September.

I would want to say as a Cubs fan that I was impressed with Danks and Floyd. Both seem to be remembering what they did last year. However, when the Cubs don't hit, I don't always think the opposing pitcher had pitched all that well to shut them down since the Cubs haven't hit anyone. Hopefully, this comeback will spark a fire and maybe Bradley can get some air under the ball and get some extra base hits.

Stoney lost a good portion of his appeal when he split with the Cubs, and I feel in a few years he will be back there. Right now he spends most of his time making up for Harrelson's stupid comments and conspiracy theories.
