Only thing worse than an idiot is a trolling idiot. Nice work, Limp. Go garbage it up in a Sox forum if you're so bitter. 5 minutes after you're in the Cubs thread, creaming about the no-hitter at Wrigley North, you come in here and tell me I'm an idiot for basically saying that it was unfair to have the game played there?Good stuff, Mookie. Look in the mirror, there's more than one idiot around here.Only thing worse than an idiot is a trolling idiot. Nice work, Limp. Go garbage it up in a Sox forum if you're so bitter. Please don't.Now trade him to the White Sox like he wants!
I get sick and tired of Z's antics as well, but the guy is an ace, and the Sox need a true #1...oh well, check back in 5 years or so...Please don't.Now trade him to the White Sox like he wants!

On a personal level, of course not.But as a serious question, what would be your alternative solution? You see nothing wrong with this picture?MLB has bent over backwards to make sure the Cubs get into the post seasonNo NYY or BOS when the NL Central was slated to play the AL East in interleague play and then 23,000 Cubs fans at an Astros "home game" @ Wrigley North.F'in' joke.
Houston - They could have waited out and seen what the aftermath was. If not that bad, they could have played 2 on Monday and rescheduled game 3 of the series if needed. Everything they needed to know, would have been know by Saturday. If Houston couldn't host a game, then they would have 24 hours to get to any of the below ballparks (each vacant on Sunday and Monday) and play at least 2 of the 3 games.MilwaukeeDetroitMinnesotaTorontoSeattleAtlantaSt LouisLA DodgersSan FranThere's no reason to go to the left coast, so take out SF, SEA and LAD. No one wants to go to Canada, so take out Toronto. That leaves 5 options: Milwaukee, Detroit, Minnesota, Atlanta and STL. Considering Houston was the home team, the absolute worst case scenario was Milwaukee and that's what was chosen. I feel bad for Houston, they got flat our screwed.Night Hawks said:On a personal level, of course not.But as a serious question, what would be your alternative solution? You see nothing wrong with this picture?MLB has bent over backwards to make sure the Cubs get into the post seasonNo NYY or BOS when the NL Central was slated to play the AL East in interleague play and then 23,000 Cubs fans at an Astros "home game" @ Wrigley North.F'in' joke.
I'll have to admit that this is probably what happened. Sure the Cubs benefited from it, but nothing was needed to get this team to the playoffs as things stood when this was decided. So any aid it had is moot.Bud moved the games to MIL, not to help the Cubs, but to help out his Brew Crew.
