I'm looking for timely news podcasts that focus on international, economic, foreign policy and macro-trend news. Not the election. Not TMZ ####. And not partisan.

PBS news hour is pretty good but is just audio of their TV program. Common Sense by Dan Carlin is decent but a bit rambling and not very frequent (about 2x per month). 

War on the Rocks is a wonkier discussion Beltway type military/statescraft type program. Really pretty good. 

Any other recos?  I want to stay up to date on international news but understand the deeper shifts as well.

Common Sense by Dan Carlin is decent but a bit rambling and not very frequent

Found this thread by searching for "common sense dan carlin". Was wondering if there had been any evaluations of his podcast. Big fan of Hardcore History but never listened to CS.

What I'm actually looking for is a good right-centre podcast. I realize that I've been living in an echo chamber of left-centre, and I know I'll get no value from listening to extreme views on either the right or left, so I need to find some good commentariat that will speak sensibly from the conservative side. Any suggestions? Is Glenn Beck and his Blaze cronies sane or insane? I watched Tomi Lahrer's appearance on Trevor Noah's DS and she was entertaining enough. Shapiro may be a good choice, maybe Crowder. Anyone else along those lines?
