Current QB Replacements (1 Viewer)

Trying to compare these early season QB replacements. If Im forgetting a replacement QB sorry, bring him up also. But of this group who do you guys see as the best option? Whos got the best potential long term (ie.. for dynasty and keepers.) And who has the best chance of sticking with the job. Hope some good discussion goes on.

I'm leaning towards Gradkowski, Walter, then Huard.

I like Gradowski the best as a QB. I like his situation the best. Only problem is the type of injury Simms went out with. Long term I guess this might matter more. If Simms were to come back at any point this year, or at the beginning of next year, I would think he'd be a sympathetic favorite to get the job back unless Gradkowski really blew things up in a major way. Simms going out with that kind of surgery and medical issue would probably garner another chance asap.

Walter might actually get this job long term. Im just not sure what its worth with that OL or if Walter is actually any good. He looked terrible in the last game. But its hard to tell who to blame. I dont like him as much as Gradkowski as a QB, but he might be a better bet to have a full time gig this year. I think at least.

Huard, I dont know much about. Im pretty sure he's gone when Green gets back. I dont think he's very good.

any opinions?

The one thing Huard has going for him is the schedule the next two weeks - 49ers and Cardinals. That's a lot easier than the two defenses he's faced - Cincy and Denver.

Thats true but he's also out as soon as Green is back. Both Walter and Grad have a chance to win the job outright. Anyone else?

Huard probably has the best surrounding offense of the three, with a strong running game to lean on.Are we sure that Green is coming back? All I've heard is that he's out indefinitely. Any more definitive word on when he's coming back, or guesses for his return? Need a bye week QB through week 8 for a 2 QB league, and not sure if Collins will last that long as the starter.

I have Ben and Manning out this week on byes. The only FA available is Huard and Gradkowski (also on a bye) so Huard it is if he clears waivers.

Huard should improve since he's had 2 weeks to practice and he's playing the 49ers. I also have Leinart so I might luck out if Warner is benched even if I don't get Huard.

ESPN and fanball are reporting that Leinart is starting this weekend.

Aaron Brooks' problem was his line. While he's out, the rest of them are still there. I don't think it'll be any easier for Walter.

I'm hoping I get Leinart through waivers but not holding my breath since I'm almost at the bottom of waiver priority. We'll see. I know it might be a stretch but I'm pretty desperate.

Green is out for week 4 and that's as much as it has been reported, but it doesn't look like he'll come back anytime soon.

I'd go for Huard. Grad is just a cypher at this point.
