amnesiac
beer is good
every year after our rookie drafts, where we cram our rosters full of raw potential, we are faced with the task of trimming those same rosters back down to size.
some of the cuts are easy, (why is that guy still on my team?) but others are more difficult.
among the most difficult players to judge are those veterans who are close to the end of the line. at first glance, they look tired and worn out, but on closer inspection, they could still hold some value, at least maybe for one more year.
a few names to get started:
Duce Staley: here's a guy who hasn't done much since going to the Steelers, but with Bettis gone, still has potential to come in and produce, even if only as a short yardage back.
Marshal Faulk: been on the decline for years, but could still be productive in stretches if Jackson were to go down.
feel free to add your own, or comment on these.
