D Bo (1 Viewer)

When you look at Dwayne Bowe's potential its all there. IMO hes closer to T.O than Brandon Marshall. For starters he has a work ethic you look for in a stud. Hes got enough speed to separate with the pros. He presents a large target for QBs. D Bo is a very aggressive WR who over powers the secondary and rarely goes down after 1st contact. Unlike many WR's in his mold, he like T.O is more than a inside the 20's kind receiver.

So moving on to the QB situation... Huard/Croyle is less than solid BUT, in order for KC to compete this year whether they like it or not, they'll have to pass the ball.

I compare this situation to that of Andre Johnson or Braylon Edwards in the past, not from a potential standpoint but from a situational one. They both struggled with horrible supporting casts but ultimately were found to be useful by fantasy owners.

Competition wise there really is none. The door is wide open for Bowe to get all the Wr looks. Samie Parker is warm body at the position and Kennison should have a hard time recovering from a torn hammy at his age. (I even like Sippio to overtake Samie Parker at some point)

Really, the only concern I have with D Bo is his lack of time to master a playbook. It wont be until he get the plays down that you will see D Bo play instinctively on the field.

D Bo may be getting overlooked on your waiver wire in re-drafts right now because of the tough Bears match-up this week, but going forward Bowe is a man with skills in a target friendly situation.

Dynasty wise you probably missed the boat.

If you've got the time and need a refresher on who this man is............ -D Bo in action-

He's got a huge obstacle to overcome....

"The Kansas City Chiefs Offense".

WRs for KC have more often than not, had a minimal impact FF wise,

as much as I like "D Bo", he is not in a good situation,

and I don't see this changing anytime soon.

:penalty: Until he's not Herminated and has a QB, I think the best he can hope for is Braylon Edwards type of production. Which isn't really bad, but is inconsistent and very limited in upside.

Kennison over last 4 seasons 53/860/568/1102/562/1086/856/854/5D Bo can do better with these numbers.

I don't know, I drafted him in a dynasty draft and will hold onto him, but for a redraft...maybe he's a number 3. IMO, he's more a number 4 or 5. He got into camp late, the QB situation is a mess, KC offense is a mess. I just don't think you can count on any type of consistency from the guy.

Those numbers might mean something if Trent Green, **** Vermeil, and Al Saunders were still in town. I'll pass.

Didn't watch him in College. But from what I saw in the video was a lot of open catches (seemed to be 3 or 4 different angles of the same ones). Don't know if it was a product of his routes or the rather smallish looking DBs.

TO appears to be more physical than this cat IMO.

Never much understood the facination with this guy. He has alligator arms and drops easy catches. He is not blazing fast either. He has decent size but not dominant in that aspect either.

Meh.

During Herm's tenure with the Jets his leading WR had the following numbers:

2001 - Coles - 59,868,7

2002 - Coles - 89,1264,5

2003 - S.Moss - 75,1105,10

2004 - S.Moss - 45,838,5

2005- Coles - 73,845,5

If Bowe can entrench himself as the #1 WR by season's end there could be value there as evidenced by the 2002 & 2003 seasons.

Me either. He went to the right team for his skill set: Blocking for LJ.

KC - Where WR's go to die....
I think the wake for Kennison is next week.Mr. Bowe is talented. He's athletic. He's fast, just not very. He's long/tall, just not very. He's got good hands, just not very. The point is he's very good at many of the aspects that make a good WR - but not great at any. IMHO, he could be a Muhammed (pre-Bears) or a Bruce - but not a T.O.

Kennison owner all of those years in a redraft. Very inconsistent. Targets were few and far between from Trent Green. And yes he can do better than those numbers. Gonzo should be retiring very soon. He will match those numbers facing the raiders and chargers secondaries alone.

Is it really that hard to type his full name instead of making it obscure? D Bo could refer to several people. What is it with people and using pseudonyms for players?

Well considering this is what HE calls himself and what HE signs when you get his autograph........ I figured it would make sense. This isn't some nickname I pulled out of a scrabble bag.

It's not worth the points even on a triple word score.

Oh, okay. I figured he was just being like RE and Muskrat. I figure they will pull in about 1,100 yards and 6 TDs this year.
