When you look at Dwayne Bowe's potential its all there. IMO hes closer to T.O than Brandon Marshall. For starters he has a work ethic you look for in a stud. Hes got enough speed to separate with the pros. He presents a large target for QBs. D Bo is a very aggressive WR who over powers the secondary and rarely goes down after 1st contact. Unlike many WR's in his mold, he like T.O is more than a inside the 20's kind receiver.
So moving on to the QB situation... Huard/Croyle is less than solid BUT, in order for KC to compete this year whether they like it or not, they'll have to pass the ball.
I compare this situation to that of Andre Johnson or Braylon Edwards in the past, not from a potential standpoint but from a situational one. They both struggled with horrible supporting casts but ultimately were found to be useful by fantasy owners.
Competition wise there really is none. The door is wide open for Bowe to get all the Wr looks. Samie Parker is warm body at the position and Kennison should have a hard time recovering from a torn hammy at his age. (I even like Sippio to overtake Samie Parker at some point)
Really, the only concern I have with D Bo is his lack of time to master a playbook. It wont be until he get the plays down that you will see D Bo play instinctively on the field.
D Bo may be getting overlooked on your waiver wire in re-drafts right now because of the tough Bears match-up this week, but going forward Bowe is a man with skills in a target friendly situation.
Dynasty wise you probably missed the boat.
If you've got the time and need a refresher on who this man is............ -D Bo in action-
