D-JAX anyone have an update? (1 Viewer)

I have to designate 2 keepers before 12am tonight and I am contemplating trading Rudi Johnson (SJ is my keeper 1) if DJAX is in good shape or anyone has news that he should be fine. Last I read he is on the PUP list from knee surgury on March 31st.

Thanks

Has not partaken in any of the TC workouts and is still on PUP list.

I wouldn't be surprised if D-Jax sees VERY little action during pre-season. Not likely, but hopefully it results in a good value play for later drafts.

Why would you keep D. Jackson over R. Johnson as one of your 2 keepers even if D. Jackson is in good shape? Arcane scoring system?I like Jackson, and have him as a keeper, but if I only got to keep 2 and was making that choice, I'd keep Rudi. Based on what you have, I've gotta believe the other teams are loaded at RB and WRs will be available during your draft.

Well, I'll be the first to admit , I am alot bigger on DJAX than most. I believe if he had not been hurt last year he would have finished top 10 for sure.

But the main thing here is, if I can get a 2nd rounder for Rudi and keep DJAX I think I might be better off. You can only start a max of 2 RB in this league and it is a ppr league as well (Rudi doesnt catch) plus, I have the #2 overall pick in the draft. So for me personally gaining the 2nd rounder and dropping from Rudi to DJAX as my number 2 keeper isnt that bad really.

Yes, it is.

I'd go with Stephen Jackson, Rudi Johnson and the best available RB with that #2 pick and let the WRs/QBs sort themselves out later.

But that's just me.

Even in a PPR league, Rudi was the #8 RB last year. S. Jackson was #9. I'd be pretty happy with that 1, 2 punch at RB.

This morning Mitch and Hugh had Holmgren on the show. For those of you who was not listening. Observing him at camp Hugh and Mitch felt that D-jack doesn't look like he really wants to be back on the field. They say he is usually off on his own and not really paying much attention to whats going on. They asked Holmgren if he felt the hold up in his recovery was due in part to his old contract promises. Holmgren said that he sat down with D-jack earlier in the week to make sure that they were on the same page, that he really wanted to be there, and that there was no alternate agenda's relating to his injury. He said now that they are on the same page its just a matter of getting him on the field. When asked if he was mad at D-jack or anyone else surrounding this issue Holmgren said he is mad at everyone since D-jack is not on the field. The Seahawks are shooting to have D-jack on the field for the 3rd preseason game.

I heard that ......... They seemed very down on him. They tried at the end of their dialog to put a positive spin on DJAX because its a Seattle radio station.
