D. Thomas (MIN) and B. Moore (SF) go off. (1 Viewer)

Both these guys log a bit of time for my thin LB crew and I never expect too much from them. Today Thomas went 4-4 with a sack and Moore went 7-7 with a sack. I've heard good things from Thomas in this forum but mostly it seemed he didn't have the opportunity. Never heard much on Moore and it seemed he had Lawson overshadowing him anyway.

Insight here?

Look for Moore to get more (d'oh) involved down the stretch. They've been talking about him a bit on the local radio stuff but it hasn't shown up in the boxscore...until now.

Thomas put up excellent stats but...how did he play from an NFL perspective? Does the team think his performance is stellar, in the same way that his fantasy owners do? Is he making tackles because they are great plays, or because other guys are missing them? Is he blowing coverage and then tackling the guy after the catch? Etc. etc. Obviously a guy who posts good stats but is playing poorly from his team's perspective will sit back down when the starter returns from injury...whereas a guy who is simply playing well may keep the job. Any insight would be welcome.
