D. Williams in Dynasty leagues (1 Viewer)

Williams was pegged as #2-#4 rookie RB in dynasty drafts last season. I took him at the #2 pick. I kinda have a hunch that his stock has fallen some (i.e. no one would give up their #2 rookie pick this season for him at this time). Actually, I'm very deep & young at RB at the moment in my dynasty league and was considering trading him for the #11-#12 overall rookie pick to snag Brady Quinn who's still on the board (I'm kinda weak at QB). I'm just trying to get a pulse on Williams' current value to make sure its a smart move or not.

I'm not a Williams fan but I wouldn't do that trade at all, you could get alot more from a Williams fan, and they are still out there. The only players I'd take over Willaims are Peterson and CJ from this year, I'm more down on Lynch than Williams right now, Carolinas line looks to be improving and Buffalos look to be the worst in the NFL right now.

There's Williams fans out there? I haven't received any trade offers at all (not even lopsided/unfair ones) for him yet in my league (spanning back to last year) so the 11 other owners in my league probably aren't big fans. With my roster depth situation, I'd much rather have Calvin Johnson than Deangelo right now.

No, it's not helpful. Any draft that has Joe Nedney go before starting RB's is not a very useful guide.

If DeAngelo Williams was in this rookie crop he should go absolutely no lower than #4, but no higher than #3. Trading him for B. Quinn would be a terrible move in terms of value.

1) A. Peterson

2) C. Johnson

3/4) D. Williams / M. Lynch (these two guys very close in value)

I traded Williams last Saturday ( at our rookie draft ) for the 4th pick Brandon Jackson ( I think Jackson will start and produce before Williams ) and James Jones .

Dynasty league .

I also have McGahee - FWP - Ronnie Brown - Jessy Chatman - Ron Dayne at RB.

 I know. The guy said he doesn't understand what happened. He said he selected an RB (can't remember who) but the thing put in Nedney. :goodposting:
