Since 2005 who has the highest batting average with runners in scoring position?

(As of a few days ago it was .388)

***edit*** The player is an everyday player.

Before I give the answer I'll give one intresting hint:He's never been an All-Star and has played in the league for more than 5 years.

Polanco? I know he's up there.
Correct! Placido Polanco has the highest average with runners in scoring position since '05. I thought it was pretty remarkable for such a low-key player when you consider guys such as Ortiz, Pujols, etc.

:thumbup: Well done. One of my favorite baseball trivia questions.Except in my scenario the last single hits a baserunner who doesn't try to get out of the way. The hitter is awarded a single but the hit baserunner is ruled OUT.
