Dallas at San Diego (1 Viewer)

Good Jim Everett comparison. That's what it looked like.
I tell you. When he's not in really good circumstances he has looked scared to death this year. If there is any noise, if a WR drops a pass, or if there is any rush he looks like he just wants to go back to the sidelines where it's safe.

I don't see where they forcing the ball to Dez he's best wr in football stop using him as a damn decoy!!!

Do you get it now, finally, Romo/Callahan??? Just throw Dez the damn ball. geez...don't let coverage scare you off from using your best weapon. Idiots.

Going to be a long day for the chargers D with Freeney out.
True.

I'm not sure if they'll be able to continue to pin opponents to ~470yards/game without him. They may fall from the 26th best pass rush in the league to.... well, I guess there are only a few spots left.

So...has Allen surpassed Royal on the pecking order already?
I think it has more to do with how defenses are going to focus on the Charger offense.

It was inevitable that Royal would get more attention, just as Woodhead will start getting more attention paid to him soon. Over his career Rivers has been pretty good at attacking the defense gives him. Just another reason why having a high paid WR1 isn't must have offense. Rivers is at his best when he isn't forcing the ball to a receiver. That explains why Brown hasn't done a lot yet. He's being matched up against CB1's and he's not really a WR1. Had Alexander been healthy I think Brown would be having a much different season.

Rivers is playing great this year. He got hit as he threw today on the interception and still has a 130+ QB rating despite that interception.

Are the Chargers good, or do the Cowboys suck?
They're 1-2, barely beat philly, barely lost to Tennessee and Houston. They are not all that good but really not as horrible add i thought they would be.

And that INT was an OL issue, not a bad throw. He's a perfect fit for this offense and he's making a ton of money for himself next year... whether it's in SD or not. His decision making is so much better... for instance when he threw the ball out the back of the endzone earlier in the game and ended up taking a FG instead of risking a TO. Nice change from the past couple of years when he seemingly couldn't throw the ball in the turf when he was outside the tackles without throwing an INT.

That said, Allen looks like the most dynamic playmaker of the WR crew. And when Laderius Green doesn't get on the field Allen is the most dynamic playmaker of the WR/TE crew.

Was Green inactive today? I don't recall seeing him out there.

Anyway, good game for Allen, I hope the find ways to keep him included in the offense if/when Floyd returns.

If Rivers isn't in San Diego next year, it will be because the Chargers moved to LA.

He's the greatest player in the history of the franchise. You don't just cut a guy like that in his prime to save a couple million bucks.

Unless he does a lot more, rivers won't get into the HOF. Seau, Fouts, and LT are better players.

Rivers isn't even the best qb from his draft class.

Rivers isn't even the best player on the team. The most important, yes, but not the best.

Gunz, either you're trolling or lack reason(s) why you posted that. Two word "not really" answers are not really answers ya know.

Not to be a jerk about it, but that kind of "controversial" comment really deserves some unpacking.
