Dallas Clark on IR - boohoo (1 Viewer)

Leeroy Jenkins said:
Dallas Clark's wrist injury is "expected" to require surgery, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The recovery time depends on the nature of the surgery. At this point, there are multiple options with different timetables. Clark is expected to return to Indianapolis Thursday evening to discuss his options with the Colts.Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter
Can we just talk about this please?Any news out of Indy last night or this mornin upon his return?
Would be nice to know what the various timetables are. ESPN, rotoworld, footballyguys someone get on this. Short bench, no injured reserve status, I need to decide whether to drop him outright or not.

I think Agonzo is toast .Jacob Tamme or Brody something is the backups correct? I think thye just become more blocker types and Manning focuses on Collie/Garcon/Wayne
I think you're right. Neither one of those guys has shown themselves to be a very good receiving option, although Tamme was productive in college which is more than can be said of Eldridge.
Calling bull here. Tamme is a great receiving TE and he showed great chemistry with Manning in the preseason when Clark was out. Tamme is the play here... get him quick.

Adam Schefter on Twitter: Colts announced that TE Dallas Clark's season is over. Clark to injured reserve.

So Tamme?
From Rotoworld today:
Colts placed Dallas Clark (wrist) on injured reserve, ending his season.

"It's unfortunate, but it's been confirmed that surgery is necessary to repair the injury to my wrist," Clark said. Arguably Peyton Manning's most reliable pass catcher, Clark's loss is a devastating blow to the injury-ravaged Colts' Super Bowl chances. Jacob Tamme will take over Clark's role in the passing game. He's worth adding as a speculative TE2 in most leagues.

Grrr. I just read where it's probably going to be a three-headed "tight end by committee" with Robinson, Tamme and Eldredge.

Probably no fantasy value whatsoever from the Colts TE position now.

Sometimes I hate FF.

lame...trading on knowledge of potential season ending injuries and having a day or two advantage on knowledgeExplain away all you want but this is plain unethical on your part.

You end up with two players and the other party in the trade with NOTHING.

Nice trading partner you are
What, rocketsauce gets internet info a day or two before the rest of us? Information is power, don't leave home without it.If something seems too good to be true . . . . .
