No clue why they signed him. I can’t imagine he’s going to take snaps from Gallup.
By all accounts Washington is healthy and looks good.

I don’t think he replaces anyone. With Tolbert an apparent bust that can’t comprehend the playbook, I think TY is depth only with the probability of playing 6-8 snaps a game barring injury to the top 3. I see him and Washington splitting some time. Insurance signing.

Yeah I'm scratching my head here too. So they follow OJB around for 3 weeks, knowing ya know, he has no workouts or any proof that he miraculously healed in 10 months. When that turns out to be facts/reality, they start scrambling for another WR? I mean, its not like Ravens-bad, where all they could get is Desean Jackson, but TY Hilton? Why are the Cowboys in the market for a street FA WR, when there are no injuries...at week 13? I'll save any of the "shouldn't have traded Amari Cooper" stuff bc that logic never makes sense to me either. Strange things in Dallas.
 
So I’m not liking these injuries. Just when I thought we would be getting guys back at the right time we lose Steel and Brown, this after losing Lewis. I’m worried about that.

I was feeling confident about it being a good Christmas but we might not have the horses.
 
I love that Tweedle Dum had to announce to the world that we plan on starting Tyron at RT.

Nothing like giving your opponent 48 hours to revise their game.

Aside from Will McClay - worst front office.

Bad loss yesterday. Subpar effort against Houston. Disappointed.

Yet, it really doesn’t matter all that much.

This team will be judged by the playoffs, period. We’ve been here for awhile, just hope the ending is different, but not holding my breath.
 
Driving the ball in OT 2nd and 7 (I think), we line up single back, trips right bunch. A formation we ran no less than 8 times. In every instance we have run out of it.

We do it again - Everyone including the announcer call it. Runner is stopped for a loss.

Then on 3rd down we throw a deep ball instead of another run that forces Jax to use it’s final TO. Gifting them a free time out.

This was the ball game. It would have never gotten to OT.

We really screwed the pooch on the Cooper trade.

Trade him for nothing.
Sign Gallup with bum knees.
Try to Odell with a bum knee
Sign Hilton - who is a JAG at this point.

Terrible management again.

Pretty sure Cooper was a lousy teammate /negative person. Incredible talent but nobody wants to be around him.

But I agree with you from a business standpoint. At least make it work for this year.

It is essentially a nothing game against a division rival with their back up.

Not much to really take serious note of.
We will be the 5 seed.

I mean I love beating Philly and all …. But…
 
The Cowboys needed to win the game and they did. Had Hurts played, I’d be a little more excited. It all comes back to beating Tampa on the road. If they can do that, there is some hope this team can break the underachieving label.

If not, McCarthy is Garrett 2.0 and the Brinks truck needs to be opened for Sean Payton.

Most of the other older Cowboy fans have stopped posting - in part due to the abuse they took over the years.

Game threads have been pretty awful at times.

I’m probably the OG now and even I have really reduced my thoughts and number if posts.

Honestly that's a shame. Cowboys have always had a strange fanbase though. WAAAAAYYYY too many poorly informed fans spread all over the country. It's nice to come to FBG and see a handful that at least have some idea WTF they're talking about.

eagles playoff record has been really good since 2000, want to say over half of those eagles wins came in that span
 
Not the best performance, but won the game. We'll need to get healthy to make a run.
Still don't have confidence in this bunch. There is just not enough consistency to expect anything different.
I see us losing 20-16 in Tampa.

Shows what I know. Hilton looks pretty damn good for coming of his couch and Washington was cut this week :lol:
 
I’ll be at the game Sunday. I had four tickets but couldn’t get anybody to go so I gave two of them them to a coworker and my wife is coming.

I would stay home too but the reality is- we only get a chance to see these guys live once a year. That means if I’m lucky I get to watch Dak or Micah play in person maybe 10 times. I sorta owe it to myself to get my *** off the couch.

Cowboys looked like a team who couldn’t decide whether they were committed to that game today. McCarthy would have been better off resting everybody to get ready for next week.

Because of that he has raised doubt into his team. Not good.
 
Just an observation. The Cowboys D isn't as fast on real grass as they are on the plastic/rubber stuff.
Next week in Tampa. Natural grass. Thick...deep....rich natural grass.
