I cut them last week.Anyone kicking Dallas to the curb after a bad showing with TB last week and getting crushed this week vs Giants?? Or is their still hope to get a sack in 2009?
Yea I'm cutting bait. They're terrible..Anyone kicking Dallas to the curb after a bad showing with TB last week and getting crushed this week vs Giants?? Or is their still hope to get a sack in 2009?
Points allowed is the lesser problem. through two games the zero sacks and zero turnovers suggest serious issues for the Cowboys.I have them in an incredibly deep league where there's pretty much nothing on the wire (probably KC, maybe Cincy, St. Louis... that's probably it). Obviously I'm holding on. My one consolation is that the Dallas offense won't usually screw them over so badly (7 of NY's points were on an INT return, another 7 came on a 28 yard TD "drive", another 3 came on an 18 yard "drive" for a 28-yard FG attempt). Sure, they still looked plenty bad, but I can really only blame them for 16 of the 33 points allowed.
Depends on the scoring system. In my league, points allowed is the #1 fantasy stat (all defenses start out with 20 points, and then lose 1 point for every point allowed). With that said... Demarcus Ware is still Demarcus Ware. Sacks and turnovers will come eventually. I'd be more concerned about Dallas's scoring defense going forward than their big plays.Points allowed is the lesser problem. through two games the zero sacks and zero turnovers suggest serious issues for the Cowboys.I have them in an incredibly deep league where there's pretty much nothing on the wire (probably KC, maybe Cincy, St. Louis... that's probably it). ATL didn't do much to him today. I dropped the Boys for ATL because I thought "Delhomme" and they did squat against him ...and they are much faster than Dallas. I couldn't recommend picking up Dallas to anyone at this point. Two words: Jake Delhomme
I am probably mixing real NFL versus FF a bit, but those plays are what gets the defense off the field so they don't allow points. No matter how you slice it, the Cowboys have allowed over 400 yards offense to Tampa and New york who two weeks ago had more questions about the WRs than answers. No reason for me to think that they are startable until that unit gets sacks, turnovers, or does not allow mediocore offenses to run up points.Depends on the scoring system. Fair enough. My frame of reference is probably off because picking up ATL saved me a win over the 'Boys wouldbe -2 alternative.ATL didn't do much to him today.
